Stoutland and the Eagles are parting ways.
The guy is probably one of, if not the best OL coach in the last 10 years.
It was thought He would join Harbaugh with Giants apparently that's not happening.
Looks like He takes a year off but they need to at least gauge his interest.
A young, raw OL with potential like the Jets have might draw his interest.
So would bringing back Breece.

You'd probably be starting with the Dallas second round pick IMO. Mac might fancy the chance to face the Patriots twice a season but the 49ers have no reason to sell. He is a good #2 and it is a moot point as to how much better Purdy is. If we picked up Jones I wouldn't be thinking of him as an 8 game bridge, so it would take away the need to overdraft a QB in the early rounds this year.
A lot of people are intrigued by Willis, which means we'd have to overpay to get him. Now we can afford that, but if he flamed out it would be another famous story of Jets incompetence.

I think the Jets learned their lesson with Fields and won't be handing out any major cash to a QB. Think Tyrod coming back along with a second or 3rd tier QB and whom ever they decide to draft.
I do think they will draft a QB with Reich on board.

Yeah, I think some folk don't realise how toxic the Jets are as a destination for good players and coaches. Mahomes gives us a 'hard pass'.Ok

Expect Cousins or Reichs guy Carson Wentz on a 2 year deal.
Fields was not paid much. His guarantee money is only $30 mill. $15 per year APY.
Willis will likely get more
Which makes it even more likely that Willis will not be coming to the Jets.
With Reich on board they will most likely draft a QB.
It will be interesting to see how the FA market develops leading up to the draft.

ESPN is reporting that the Jets have been warned not to pursue one of butterscotchs favorite Cardinals. The report cited effort and motivation as key reasons to stay away from Kyler Murray.
I bet Murray's own people put that out there because HE doesn't want to come to the Jets.

The Jets are not going to trade for Murray. He comes with over $100 million guaranteed over 2 years, plus he would be a terrible mentor for the next QB.
Even if they draft a QB, they will acquire a veteran. Besides possibly Mendoza,there is not a single QB in this draft with the ability to be a day 1 starter. Reich and whoever he brings in as QB coach will be able to groom him for a full season and the team can evaluate him near the seasons end. Then they will know if they should draft another QB next year.
Besides that, Reich is very likely a one and done OC. He took the Stanford job as a favor to Luck and was planning to retire before taking the Job and after. Now he's doing Glenn a favor to try and help save his career, but I think he retires after the 26 season.
They may try to sign Willis if they view him as a quality starter based on a very small sample size. In that case, they can really boost the Defense and add some weapons and protection for Willis.
Reich, Willis a top WR and interior OL with Wilson back healthy plus the best Defensive player and free agents could really turn things around quickly.
