So now we take an injury riddled LT from Green Bay to go with 2 scrubs from the Ravens. This means another Draft without using the #1 pick on a much needed Offensive linemen. What does this mean. Two (2) things. JD will pull a Rich Kotite and Draft a TE (Bowers). Of course the 2nd option. The Offensive line will fall apart again this year due to leading the league in sacks, players going on the IR. Rodgers getting hurt and going on the IR and possibly JD getting his revenge on Woody for self destructing the Jets Offense because he did not want Rodgers in the first place.
In fairness, JD has taken two OL in the first round and one with the team's top pick in his tenure with the team.
Right. He has done the right thing. It has just all gone the way of the Jets. The curse is too strong
and I’m with JD on not over paying for players. It always worked for belichick. Of course belichick was winning so guys took pay cuts to play for him.
if we needed one more piece of the puzzle and we over payed for it maybe, but we are missing half the puzzle
So I guess in fairness, JD is doing a hell of a job in building a strong Offensive line.
Considering the holes he has to replace and the cap space he has to work with and still pay the new draftees and some of our own free agents, I'd say that's a reasonable assessment.
So it sounds like Moses played through a pec injury all last season. Had surgery 6 weeks ago. Of course JD swoops in to trade for an injured player. He better draft RT with first pick.
