Met life finally has new turf. Unfortunately not grass but hopefully the new surface will cut down on noncontact injuries that have plagued players on that field.

Oh, I thought Woody went to Hair Club or Bosley.
I never liked the stadium's location. Even back in the old days 70s, when traffic was a fraction of what it is now.
Biggest problems I had with this new park is that we're once again sharing it with the Giants, and that they did not install a retractable roof. Just dumb. Are fans still calling the new place "The A/C Unit"? lol

80 - Harlem river drive - triboro bridge - Astoria blvd - stadium
It was a pleasure to not have to leave so early or get home so late for macs and gravy

Location anyway- the stadium and the team still sucked
My grandmother lived in Rego Park. So gameday would be going to my grandmother's, picking up hoagies, going to the game, back to my grandmother's for dinner, going home to NJ.We did

It wasn't bad driving in to Main St, Flushing and walking over to Shea.
You could park in the street.
I walked to Main St. Flushing ,but took the subway from there.
Remember the pizza place diagonally across from the Department store (with the clock)?
It was the best pizza I have ever eaten.
I hear it's moved, and I don't know where it went. But I'd drive from Connecticut to get a slice.(sorry, I don't want to make this another pizza thread, but I'm serious.)

Forget the subway after the game unless you leave 5 minutes before the end of the game.

Most jet games, you can leave after the first drive 3 and out so the subway should be good
These days, I have to drive 3 hours for good pizza. So I can relate.
The pictures you folks post are larger than an actual slice. They take up too much room on the JFU server.
