New York State says NFL teams can open training camps without running afoul of the state’s COVID-19 guidelines.

Governor Andrew Cuomo confirmed today that NFL training camps — as well as training for other pro sports teams in New York — will be permitted, as long as teams follow the appropriate health protocols.

The Bills are the only team that has training camp in New York State. The Giants and Jets both have their training camps in New Jersey. So Cuomo’s announcement only directly affects one NFL team.

But it’s a good sign for the league that New York, the state that has been hit the hardest by the coronavirus, is OK with training camps opening. Camps are slated to open in two months, and the league appears to be on course to have players back at team facilities by then.

If New Jersey doesn't open up in time for camp the Jets could always hold camp in Cortland as they have done in the past. I'm quite sure the city of Cortland would be glad to have them back.

Hofstra University?
I guess Hofsta is also a possibility but I was referring to Suny Cortland. They used that facility for five years and generated over 24 million to the local economy. They were treated very well by the locals while they were there and I would bet they would love to have the Jets back. I'm not so sure that Hofstra could measure up.

was all about out dated facilities that Hofstra did not want to spend to fix up... Jets built Florham Park and made it their home... Was Rex Ryan and crew that started the whole Suny Cortland trip, but when Ryan left so did that deal...

there should be no hard feelings for the Jets to return to Hofstra especially because of this pandemic the school could use any funds they can get and it would be a resource I dont think the school would turn down...
