New York Giants to hire Brian Daboll as their HC

Great news for our Jets and a tragic loss for Josh Allen and Buffalo's Offense.

He might even be able to turn Daniel Jones into an absolute winning QB because what he did with Josh Allen up in Buffalo was down right amazing.

(and Daniel Jones doesn't stink his statistics are damn impressive for what he's been surrounded by).

I guess whatever Flores told the Giants brass didn’t sit well with them . Daboll is an excellent OC but is he a HC is still to be determined. Is he going to be a HC who calls the offensive plays on game day or a team manager handing play calling to someone else.

I'm just thankful both of Josh Allen and Buffalo's Offenses just lost him.

I'm anxious to see who Buffalo replaces him with? Hopefully a Rookie OC

Bill's will likely promote Ken Dorsey, hes been passing game coordinator and QB coach since Allen was drafted.
Seriously doubt Allen skips a beat. Hes one of the elite QBs of the league now.

I think he'll leave Buffalo in order to join his mentor Daboll in NYG.

Why?
He would be taking a lesser role in NY.
Moving to a much inferior roster with a big question mark at QB.
Makes no sense

yeah. I was really impressed with him vs. KC. Majommes is just crazy good though. that should be a decade long great rivalry. or decades if they get to live by the brady rules

Inferior roster, yes. But Daniel Jones has pretty good statistics despite being surrounded by crap so if both Daboll and Dorsey are the real deal, you never know; they might help Daniel Jones as they once improved Josh Allen.

Who knows. I could be wrong. But Buffalo fans are fearing Dorsey leaving them for Daboll and NYG right now.

Daboll has already said he will be calling plays in NY. Nice try though.

I wonder about the shakeups across the league and how it will impact not only the 9 teams with new staffs, but also the teams that get 'raided'. As far as the raided staffs, I'm less concerned when an OC who works for an offensive-minded HC i.e., LaFleur, Shanahan, Reid or McVay; takes a HC position, its probably not a big deal. However, when a guy like Daboll leaves McDermott's staff, I would think it has to have a pretty big negative impact. Unless of course there is someone waiting in the wings who is a big part of the offense's success. Bottom line, is that it should be really interesting next year with so much turnover.

And if true, I really wish Robert Saleh would do the same and call his own Defensive plays for our Defense.

I don't necessarily. Saleh is feeling his way as a head coach and had two rookie coordinators last year. I feel as though he would have been making a mistake focusing on one side of the ball. He'll figure out what needs his most attention, but for now he needs to pay attention to each phase equally.
