i know you didn't ask me FL, LOLz i'm guessing because i've already made it very clear how i feel..

i will say this though.. at this point this is bowles & maccagnan fault, not smith's.. we know at this point smith can't help himself..

I agree. Todd Bowles is said to be an authoritarian. With sh*t like this happening all the time, how could he possibly claim that? I do know one thing...Bill parcells would have laughed and instantly taken action against Geno. He's not only hijacking the camaraderie and chemistry of the team, he's also making a mockery of the HC.

The players can see this. Although I doubt anyone on the team is as ignorant as Geno, what he's pulling could be followed by other malcontents on the team. Geno is essentially writing them a blueprint to be an idiot in case they are unhappy about something.

Look, I'm sorry and I know this may violate the Jetsfansunited laws of acceptable talk. I know most of you here think Todd Bowles is the most awesome HC in the history of football bar none, he's more awesome and amazing than Chuck Norris.

I am rapidly losing respect for the twit. If he tolerates this it makes him look like a GD NOTHING as a HC. A Laughingstock worse than the likes of Rich Kotite. If what's happening right now does not leave Todd Bowles open to harsh criticism then I do not know what does.......

but i can't disagree that bowles (this summer at least) has done a poor job handling pretty much every aspect of the smith situation in my eyes..

this has been extremely puzzling/frustrating for me, because i still have hopes bowles can be our long term head coach..

but if he insists on hitching his wagon to smith (in his walk year no less) over petty, i have zero sympathy if the wheels fall off..

Can't he see what this situation is becoming for him? If he allows this to go on, he'll NEVER get the team to respect their HC. Mac should be taking notice of this. Maybe Mac should be deciding if Todd Bowles is the long term answer for the NYJ.........

it gets late early in the NFL, i won't debate that..

but even with week 17. last season, 10-6 should earn a head coach at the very minimum another 2 years in my book..

unless the head coach has lost his locker room al groh style..

guys like marshall, decker, revis, mangold immediately come to mind..

if those (win now) guys think bowles is already losing his locker room in today's day of social media, i believe we would have heard/seen (fitzpatrick & two of his kids on marshall's roof hours before training camp started comes to mind) at least some rumblings by now..

by the time we get to week 3, we should have all we need to know as far as if bowles' team is going balls to the wall for him.....
