I think they are likely close. Wright is a definite NFL RT, and to me Jones is an absolutely perfect LT. If the Jets had a choice, who they chose might tell us where they are with Becton, with Duane Brown considered in the short term.

Jones is a road grader while Wright is more of an impact blocker.

If we look at our current talent, the impact blocker fits the bill but I believe they have the starting 5 for this year on the roster.

Re-signing McGovern with return of AVT along with the un-movable contract of Laken these are our IOL add in Duane Brown at LT and hopeful camp battle of the lighter Mekhi Becton vs. Max Mitchell at RT.

Unless they are willing to eat Laken's contract then target OSU Paris to replace him is the only move I see us going OL in the first round.

If it isn’t an OT at 15, then what position if pick isn’t traded? Nolan Smith was mentioned and I’d be fine with that because he gives us another playmaker on defense. Other than Jalen Carter I’m not sure there is a DL worthy of being taken that high. Best case may be that a QB falls and a desperate team coughs up a couple of valuable picks.

I honestly would take Jones over him, though I like his versatility. But if they took him, Becton had better be the guy at LT for the long haul.

As far as mid round WRs go, how about Cedric Tillman of Tennessee? He was hurt later in the season and missed valuable time, but he is a big, tough WR who exhibits a lot of NFL traits IMHO. I like him better than his VOL teammate JHyatt.

Outside Njiba, Zay Flowers should be an option. Expecting JD to accept one of the two trade offers he has to trade down to recoup another day 2 pick.

I feel if Skoronski is there they have to take Him. The guy has the one thing you can't teach: Instinct. From watching this guy he looks like an established OL already. Always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Plug and Play OL. Like Jack Campbell in the second this is a no-brainer pick.

I believe its Levis AND/OR Stroud who will fall. Maybe not as far as 15 but it could happen. Richardson is going #1 to Carolina isn't he? Isn't that why they traded for it?
