So what's your position? That paying an extra 700 million to have our own stadium in Queens would lead to us winning? Or that losing is ok as long as its not in met life stadium?

My only point is that the stadium isn't the problem. The only thing that will change the little brother moniker is winning. Do you disagree?

In general, I would agree. It's all about winning.

When the team made consecutive AFC title games and were beating the Pats in January, were the Jets still the little brothers?

Don't forget Burris. I think he'll have an even bigger role next year. Maybe as the nickel back? Personally, I hope he ends up starting. Skrine should move to the nickel. Revis as safety

I'm not as sold on Burris as some are, but I hope you are right. I would love to see more consistency out of Marcus Williams in the secondary.

Nobody is guaranteed, but I look forward to seeing him year 2.

I think more teams should share stadiums. It's ridiculous that you have teams in the same geographic area having their own stadiums. The Jets/Giants model is common sense, it works, and it's economically smarter.

One NFL team playing 8 games per year in a modern era stadium is insane, IMO. As others have said, you win games, we aren't even talking about this.

If we drafted Lattimore at #6, and went with Marcus Williams, Buster Skrine, and Juston Burris to round out the CB position, I think we'd be OK.

forgive me for reading between the lines but it's glaringly obvious the yankees & mets could not disagree with you more..

The national media hate the Jets because they are NY.

The NY media hate the Jets because they are not the establishment NY team.

That said, I'm not sure three straight Lombardi Trophies would stop the Jets hate. It is quite deep.

Baseball and football are different. A baseball stadium is used 10% as often for regular season home games as a football stadium is. One sees at least 81 games, the other 8.

Out of necessity. Baseball can create scheduling nightmares that football generally does not have. The nightmare scenario for the NFL would be for both NY teams to host conference title games.

The Lee is classic square peg in round hole. It's already known that Lee cannot play inside, he's a total liability in pass coverage. To play on the outside Lee is going to have to add at least 20 pounds of lean muscle mass. He played 2016 at approximately 215 pounds. His weight at the time he was drafted was a major exaggeration. He's not even close to 232.

Honestly, I think Lee has 2017 to find that he can stick as a linebacker? This will be his last chance tl prove himself. This offseason will require he adds necessary muscle weight. Then the CS needs to see if he can maintain his quickness? Assuming he passes the first two tests, from there he's going to have to produce. He was terrible in 2016.

Hack is easily the worst pick the Jets have made since Vernon Gholston. Even worse thn Lee and that's hard to do.

Honestly, I give the 2016 draft an F. 2016 will go down as the worst draft in recent memory. 2017 is a make or break season for both Mac and Bowles. They could easily be fired mid season, if this offseason does not go much better than 2016. I have no idea how they were able to keep their jobs after 2016.

by design, the yankees & mets don't play at home often at the same time..

hell, the lakers & clippers share a building with an 82 game regular season NBA schedule..

it absolutely could be done..

the yankees & mets, the knicks & nets & the rangers & islanders could share buildings.. they just don't won't to..

Jets and giants had back to back games this year I believe.

Everyone is forgetting all of the other events and concerts that go on all year.
