The CB has good skills. I felt after seeing him play that he is a little slower than I would like. It's a good pick.

Honestly, if you had a son, would you want him to get drafted by the jets?

We will have to agree to disagree on his blocking but I like him as a receiver. I have been a proponent of drafting 2 TEs , especially if we are running 2 and 3 TE grouping as Detroit did. Taylor and Smart can catch, Ruckert and Kuntz can't do anything.

Well you can't agree on everything Tony. I feel his blocking will come along with instruction and I think it's a technique thing more than anything else. I believe they will draft or look to UDFA for another TE.
I'm surprised they didn't take a DL but I think the guy they wanted(Broughton) might have been drafted right before they picked and they might have been caught a little flat-footed that pick.
I do like the Smith pick. He's a long tall corner that can play the outside. Big Hands, all the tools, another highly coachable player.
I see what they're trying to do here, now lets see if they can pull it off.
