Man, those 150 players, unless you are earmarked as a top player, 1st rd or blue chip type player, a boycott is only going to hurt the prospect.
I know there are pro days an such but if I’ve been training and believe I’m in top physical condition, it’d be hard to pass up that opportunity.

not necessarily, Combine is more of the NFL league to showcase said talent but there are still pro days which most teams get a better feel for prospects and where they should go in the draft. coaching staffs get more hands on with workouts then in the Combine which is more of a gimmick move by the League to boost revenue...

What about interviews, medicals and measurements .

I don't blame these kids one bit.

If I were an NFL draft prospect myself; I wouldn't want to show up and train/test without my people alongside of me (either).

The NFL is on some type of hypocritical horsecrap. You 100% (completely) remove the Covid Protocol Restrictions for both the playoffs and Super Bowl (with no regard for player safety/sickness) but then you become super and extremely strict again for the combine?

The NFL should be ashamed of themselves.

Let me guess. The NFL Postseason + Super Bowl creates more $$$$ and more revenue for the NFL than the Combine does?

#MoneyIsRootOfAllEvil.

Add to that that the stadium is almost completely empty during the combine.

I guess a concern I would have is this may lessen the hype machines on certain prospects that could influence teams to make a deal with the Jets to move up.

....conversely might they also benefit in grabbing talent they identify that doesn't generate as much buzz from the big showcase next week.
