Why you want to trade Mo? I was not happy with the Williams pick, but after reading all the posts, the Jets have an awesome DL.

Depends on what you can get from him. You get a package for a legit good QB, or a young stud pass rusher, or a package of picks including at least one first, you have to consider it.
I'd be happy with Dorsett rd 2 and Cobb or Yeldon rd 3. I'd also be happy with Coleman or Duke Johnson rd 2 and Greene or Locket rd 3.
You finally got me agreeing that Williams may have been a good pick for us and yet you may want to trade our best defensive player.
They do and if they switch to a 4-3 primarily then I guess this makes since or trade Mo and it makes since. Our D-line is sick true enough but how many damn D-linemen do we need. Let's not forget Coples is a 280 plus LB that is really a DE and could be a very good one if they used him there. So I ask again, how many damn D-linemen do we need? Trade Mo and get the draft picks to help get the LB, o-linemen and WR we need to help this team. Or trade Mo for a equal value young beast NFL player.

But he's due for a big raise. Are you saying you don't consider a deal that locks up the QB problem for the next several years?
I f we can trade Mo for an Andrew Luck or Phillip Rivers type of player, yes i am all for it.

Not young any more, but still has a 3-4 year window, and with guys like Revis, the Jets could be more in a win-now mode.
no trade of mo today locks up a QB for the next few years. at this point, you don't trade mo until after the season. a team expected to be bad (and thus have a good 2016 draft pick) isn't trading for mo. only a good team would trade for him, so adding a likely mid-to-late 2016 doesn't guarantee you anything.
why do you think the saints would trade their franchise player, let alone for a DE who wants to be paid like a QB?
