Honestly, in the fourth round, this is one hell of a pick.

I LOVE this draft right now. Love it.

I think Geno and Simms battle it out for the third spot. Petty's roster spot is assured.

No reason to get rid of Geno yet.

Petty is the # 3, this will be like a redshirt year for Petty, he's coming from a simple system and his learning curve is steep, but he has good size and arm talent, so his ceiling is high, but he must be brought along slowly.

IMO he doesn't take a single snap this year outside of the pre season, but he's a potential starting QB down the road.

This years three:

Geno or Fitz will be 1 and 2

Petty 3

Simms - No room at the Inn

It is. And while Petty was not my top choice at QB, he's a ton of value at that spot, and he has really good measurables.

All in all, both good value and need addressed this draft.

Oh, I agree. But the only two secured roster spots right now are Fitz and Petty. Geno

LOL, hells, i wanted the Jets to trade back into th 1st to snag him. Thank goodness for Maccagnan. The guy is as patient and aggressive GM as they come.

This has turned out to be as good of a draft since Mangini's 1st class in 2006.

Well see, we shall see! Great pick and not a reach to get him. QB competition will be tuff as it should be and Geno will be right in the mix of it. We don't have a franchise QB yet so this will be very interesting.

Not sure about a safety. The safety depth seems pretty solid. Pryor, Gilchrist, Allen, Jarrett.

I'd go for a speedy RB late, and look at OL depth. Maybe a Buck Allen, Cobb, or Artis-Payne at RB.
