I predicted several months ago that the NFL would want to stick it to the Jets yet again by starting them with the Saleh 'revenge game', just as last season had to start with the Rodgers 'revenge game'. I'm surprised that the organisation don't more volubly oppose this naked prejudice against the Jets.

I'm going to be optimistic and say 6-8 wins. 4 games should be gimmies, 2 very winnable and I can see a game or 2 stolen , 1 early and one late.

I believe that if they win six games they beat the spread. It's far too early to reliably predict what will happen though. Perhaps Geno bounces back bigtime with a better line than he had last season plus all those targets.

So many factors in a long season. Escape injuries, could face a tough opponent who has a major injury. I think DM improved the roster immensely. On both sides of the ball and at all 3 levels of the defense.
There are still needs , but no glaring holes.
The talent is there to be competitive and I don’t believe the roster is set yet. I think there will still be some additions made.
I expect they beat the 5.5 wins. Bet the over!

I’m just happy that they don’t have any prime time/standalone games. They’ve done nothing to earn that in about a decade or more really, but they always seem to have 3 to 4 games at least and it’s so frustrating. Putting our Jets on display for everybody to see the true embarrassments that they can be or they are..
