NJ Jets Have Misused Elijah Moore

As frustrated as I am with the title of this thread I can’t even argue it as bad as this team is playing. I’ll just say this, the Giants are the real New Jersey team. They moved out there first and obviously have no plans of moving back.

I know Moore is miscast as a wide out. Should be in the slot. The man has talent, but somehow to me he looks like a lazy, uninterested sack of shit.

When they drafted Moore I thought the starters would be Davis/Mims/Moore (with Moore taking the slot spot from Crowder who they were trying to get rid of).

So far, I'm just confused as to anything they are trying to do on offense! Players in the wrong spots! Talented players not playing! Hell who knows what they are doing!!

Dead on with comment. Dropping passes hitting WRs in hands and not caught pisses me of. Thats not counting passes in tight coverage thats every time. WRs get stickum, gloves to catch passes and try to get open without CBs right next to your jogging. I miss Jets tall WRs jumping up catching bad passes thrown by Sanchez.

Moore has been a good route runner so far -Zach has missed his read a few times. What's not to be missed here is that the HR threat of Moore is negated by the OC playcalling that is not setting that up. DBs are playing zone and sitting back - Jets are not taking the underneath. Gotta get Moore in space.

Also - refs missed helmet to helmet contact on the hit that gave him the concussion. Should've been 15 yards and drive extended. Broadcast missed it as well.

IMO, this goes back to misusing Mims, or should i say, not using Mims...if Mims plays, that puts him on the outside with Davis, and Moore would be able to go to his natural slot position.

what baffles me is the lack of 3 in ones the San Fran Offense was supposed to bring. each play is supposed to have (1.) a Jet sweep, (2.) a quick hitter to an open receiver, or (3.) an RPO for Zach to decide from the same formation.

if we had them, Moore would be getting a ton of touches close to the LOS for him to make people miss, and also quick hits in the flat for easy yards.

the rookie OC needs to be in the box to see the field and defenses. him on the sideline is like using a driver without the ball on a tee. make it easy on yourself, LaFleur!!!
