No problem, we just get Streveler back.Unfortunately there is no one available who will give us a better chance to win. That being said, they still need to bring in another QB. If Wilson gets hurt, we are in an even worse place.

We won the trade !!!!I guess this means we don't give them our #1 pick.
Right?
Later

There's chatter about Rivers returning...and I don't think it started yesterday.Hey maybe we can coax Rivers out of retirement. That would be an upgrade
Apparently Rodgers didn't like the cut blocks. Maybe they should have listened to himGotta wonder what was up with the blocking scheme. We saw both Brown and Becton completely whiff on cut blocks. I question if they even practiced it in camp.
There are any number of people who give us a better chance to win, Zach was rated 31st out of the 32 starters last season. The Superbowl has gone but there is still a chance to not get swept by the Patriots and possibly sneak a Wild Card. Or we can give up on the season and win just enough games to take us out of the blue chip draft picks.Unfortunately there is no one available who will give us a better chance to win. Problem there is "no starters are available" and really no one who knows this offense is available for a quick plug and play fix. There are any number of people who give us a better chance to win, Zach was rated 31st out of the 32 starters last season. Don't think we can afford Stafford (or Brady or Rivers). But there are a number of backups with starter experience who are better than Zach. Hell, Boyle is better than Zach and he was running the PS last week. I would be happy to wait for you to come round to the conclusion that Zach isn't the answer but I REALLY don't want to be swept by Belichick AGAIN and hear the announcers gleefully repeating that stat.Problem there is "no starters are available" and really no one who knows this offense is available for a quick plug and play fix.
We would be picking through backups, and quite honestly, backups that other teams don't want. With the exception of possibly a Stafford trade (and I believe he has multiple years left on his contract, which would cause an issue if Rodgers comes back), I'm not really seeing who out there would be a clear cut upgrade.
Minshew? Trust me when I say, I do not believe Zach is the answer (I saw a slightly more confident version of last years Zach last night). But I think we are pretty stuck with the situation.Don't think we can afford Stafford (or Brady or Rivers). But there are a number of backups with starter experience who are better than Zach. Didn't he just have his 9th kid?Hey maybe we can coax Rivers out of retirement. That would be an upgrade
Just wait till next year...!Apparently Rodgers didn't like the cut blocks. Maybe they should have listened to him
Red zone plays is supposed to be Hackett's strength, so lets hope he can fix that. Here are the 2 issues with Zach……. He can sort of move the team between the 20’s….. but he cant finish in the end zone. Second problem…… defenses don’t fear Zach to beat them with his arm, so here comes 8 men in the box and that kills the run game. At least with Foles (or any vet) even though he ain’t great, ya gotta respect the pass.
The big problem is Zach sucks I the red zone. Something has to give right?Red zone plays is supposed to be Hackett's strength, so lets hope he can fix that.
Zach can be a game manager, but he has to hit some strikes or as you mentioned the box will stay stacked and dare him to throw. Personally I think they need to run a ton of slant plays, and dink/dunk plays. Get the ball out of his hands quick and into the playmakers hands.
Hardman didn't get any burn in MNF, we need to change that. Put some playmakers out there, move the ball quick, and force the defense to defend the middle of the field. That is the only way we will get them to back off and play honest.
We need Breece to run it in from OUTSIDE of the red zone. The big problem is Zach sucks I the red zone. Something has to give right?

Sound scary but good to me. I have a feeling Zach’s going to play much better than he did last year. Let’s do it!Zach is our qb. We will rally behind Zach and we will play good football.
