Agree. I think Fitz was on a once in a lifetime run, and I am afraid the Jets will think he can do that again, but our schedule is brutal next year and we have too many holes to adequately plug in one offseason. Lots of amazingly critical decisions to be made that will shape us for the next 2-3 years. Bowles is definitely a "veteran" guy so he will likely delay going to a young QB too long. I think we take a step, possibly a big one back next year, which I am OK with if there is a solid long term plan to improve. Very very key offseason.

I believe mac has a plan.

What makes it even tougher to swallow, and lets not kid ourselves about this, we got knocked out of the playoffs by the coach we just fired, and all his team had on the line in that game was the satisfaction of knocking us out.

That is a bitter pill to swallow.

Incidentally, if we had swept Rex the way Rex swept us, not only would we be in the playoffs, we would have won the division and this week we would be on a first round bye. If we win just one of those games we're in as a wildcard, two and we're the #2 seed, but he swept us this year and we're neither.

Time to celebrate the Jets 10 win.season, way better than 2011 2012 2013 or 2014, be thankful we found a better GM a better HC a better offense and QB and Wide Receivers a terrific DT in Williams and a vastly defensive secondary

Lots of things to still improve but all in all a big step in the right direction for 2016

1st off season last year the Jets had a plan on adding pieces to compliment then current roster... But after so many ups and downs this year even with a winning record both Bowles and Maccagnan know they need to now compliment the added pieces they added last off season to continue the success we enjoyed this year... Have to understand they really couldn't evaluate the entire roster last off season but with a full season of observing our players they have more data to go forth this off season to make necessary changes and I have full confidence in both Todd Bowles & Mike Maccagnan to acquire the right players...

There are fixed fixtures on this roster like Nick Mangold, David Harris, Darrelle Revis, Mo Wilkerson, Damon Harrison that need to stay in the fold and they will try to keep them all here... Restructuring key contracts, and then looking at the potential on who belongs or works well in Bowles system and then make the moves to remove the rest and fill the need with players in free agency but ultimately through the draft...

I had such a bad feeling when I looked at the phone around 12:30pm and Bilal Powell was inactive. Then I turn on the game before kickoff and there are 30mph winds causing havoc. Winds for both teams, I know, however the Bills are built better for it and usually the better team(Jets) are at a disadvantage. I tried not to get down but was very concerned.

As good as the "good feelings" were this year, it ended on such a negative. I am in my late 40s and shouldnt be this upset, however I am. I cant believe we are not playing this week during a playoffs where any team can win it. All week long, the voice in my head keeps saying " Really? This happened again to the Jets? Rex of all people?" Grrrrrrrr, oh the pain...............
