He didn't show much last year either, for all of his fanfare, he had a grand total of 2 Sacks, thats why I DID NOT have him making the team in my early roster projections. I had IK making it, but not Babin.

I didnt see that. Good call on your part then. Also, I hope you're right about IK. With our dline falling apart, I'd love to see him get some run. I like Douzable a lot, kid makes plays and is all heart and effort. But IK brings violence to the position, just a bull in a china shop. love watching him play. Hope he gets in the rotation too. I think he can be a solid rotation guy too. When people talk about watching players away from the ball, IK was one of my favorites last preseason. he just looked like the kind of kid you hate to block as an olineman.

If I had it to do over, I would not have omitted Douzable, that was a mistake, Douzable makes it and Walls to the PS
It also looks like Pace has the lead over Reilly.

1) Ummmmm, he's executing the plays called and not turning the ball over...he's completing almost 75% with 1 TO so far (on a sack)...what exactly do we want, more TOs, lower comp %, and more deep shots or an efficient non-TO offense.
Brady completes less than 10% of his passes that travel in the air over 9 yards...guess no one is bitching in New England...just New Jersey....

My thoughts exactly, particularly as they relate to Smith. Goes to show how hypocritical some folks can be. What is happening to GS is the effect of Gailey's offense on a young QB. How is it a problem that a QB is not turning the ball over and completing a large % of his passes? Seems to me that is a great complimentary formula to a strong running game and top defense. Geez!
A couple of other points as it relates to the WR group: Shaq Evans is getting some positive compliments and I'm hearing nothing about JKerley. It seems as though Kerley is a 2nd string slot WR behind Decker/Marshall, and that Gailey wants a vertical threat in combination with the top two wideouts. It might be too little too late for Evans, but is nice to see him playing well. Maybe he will be able to catch on with another team.
Agreed on all points. It didn't take long when Devin Smith to go down for Owusu to step into the starting unit. Kerley is a nice player, but Devin Smith instantly jumped him on the depth chart and when he went down Owusus started playing with the ones (Owusu was even the redzone hot read on the all out blitz...when Geno threw his 5th straight TD against our defense in one practice...).
As for Evans, he and Fitz seem to have good chemistry...but having too much depth at WR to know who makes the team is a good thing.
