You guys do realize that two fans who were ACTUALLY THERE are saying they saw cause for concern, right? Many of the same things we've had to endure his whole career -- locking on receivers, loose ball management, inaccuracy, etc. Is their personal experience/opinion diminished because it doesn't agree with the Pro-Geno crowd? A bunch of fans who (understandably) HOPE he becomes the answer, but have nothing but a few preseason practices to base that hope on?
I understand there are some here who take their Geno-hate to the extreme. I do not consider Elias or NYJETSDAN16 to be those kinds of fans.
Geno has PLENTY of margin for error, and he's gonna need it as NO ONE is expecting him to be Peyton Manning right out of the gate (or ever). But that margin has been WAY too wide thus far, and at least two fans with eyewitness experience don't feel that gap has lessened as much as they'd like.
They might be right, they might be wrong. But no need to disqualify what they say because it doesn't fit our pipe-dream agenda . . .
