Great point. I'm an equal opportunity hater. I hate most Jets media AND many Jets fans.

Imagine if we were the Patriots, with a bunch of media slobbering all over us and fans drinking the Kool-Aid in gallons, following our leader and chanting his mantra, refusing any fact that dare challenge our infallibility.

We are, in many, many ways, the anti-Patriots.

Very true...and Im not even sure success would fix that. Though as someone whose entire family is from New England, and blind Patriot homers, I can tell you the 80s were very unkind to Patriot fans and they weren't much different than we are now. Success changes culture, buts its hard to imagine Jets culture any other way.

I don't think one SB would change the mentality that much. It would take 2, maybe 3, in a few years to do that.

But it can be changed. The Patriots were perennial losers before they started cheating, and then once they won, their fans forgot that the team existed before 2001. Winning could do that for the Jets, but it would take more than one SB.

Why even mention the picks? All other days, the same article was titled 6 observations from Jets Camp. No mention of, "where Geno didn't throw picks"

The media plays a role in the way we treat our QBs, players and coaches. Hope we can realize that and not be detrimental to our own team.
