There are plenty of options and we seen Joe Douglas and Adam Gase make a point by cutting dead weight signed or drafted by former GM Maccagnan, what scenarios do you think are possible and feasible for this current regime:

1. Jets trade/cut middle linebacker C.J. Mosley. Can save tons of cap before the 3rd day of the new league year. Injuries killed his season this year but can this regime pray that he will be healthy moving forward. Guarantee there are a couple of teams that may offer up to a 1st round for his talent. Nothing lower than a 3rd.

2. Jets keep Avery Williamson and plan to convert to a 4-3 defense. Avery is perfect fit for a 4-3 inside linebacker. Team can cut him but whats the point his contract is affordable.

3. Jets dangle Jamal Adams out there for a couple of picks? Would be a mistake but if the team can acquire draft capitol it may be worth it if they use it to build the offensive line. That is hoping that this regime doesn't choke and reach during the draft.

4. Jets re-sign Kelvin Beachum, Ryan Kalil, Brandon Shell and Alex Lewis this off season will show the fans that they are barking mad. Re-signing only Kelvin Beachum makes sense as the others are journeyman backups at best. But moving forward Beachum shouldn't be the starter at blindside nor strong side, he should be prepared to be the swing tackle moving forward (back up).

5. Jets should re-sign on another one year deal, Bilal Powell as he shows every week he still has a lot left in the tank. Unless Ty Montgomery can prove he can provide another role on the offense then they should let him walk. Josh Adams is a ERFA and should be back with the team.

6. The biggest question is what to do with the big contract and guarantees of Le'Veon Bell. Will they shop him again, will they figure out how to best use him or will they hold on to him one more season then thereafter they can let him go for nearly no dead loss? After next season the new league year there is a small window to trade/cut Bell of two days dead loss is $4 M over the final 2 years of his deal.

7. Jets let Robby Anderson walk in free agency after not accepting low ball trade offers for him before the dead line. Team would look more dumb then it already looks now. Smart would to give him a competitive contract with escalators and a moderate guarantees. We will have to watch this one.

8. Jets trade Chris Herndon and re-sign Ryan Griffin. This is a plus/minus move. Herndon and Darnold do have chemistry. But will also have witnessed Griffin becoming a solid contributor and safety net for Darnold. Interesting proposal to acquire draft capitol while keeping a solid veteran. Not to mention Daniel Brown another veteran who has Sam's trust.

9. Jets decide not to retain Brian Poole's services looking for a cheaper option. A physical nickel corner who is progressing each week both against the run and pass. Would be foolish not to have a veteran like this if they plan on parting ways with Trumaine Johnson. The defensive backs need a veteran corner to help not only mentor the younger corners.

10. Jets trade Quinnen Williams for a day two pick. Fans would be up in arms about this move but who can blame them another Maccagnan what if pick. Everyone said he was the best player in the draft so how could we miss? Long term kid is only 21 and the league is a different beast then what he endured at the college level. Maybe he can be a long term answer but at what position. The team re-signed Mclendon at the NT, they have two other linemen in Sheperd and Fatakusi and both are playing great football. Interesting on what may happen here.

Ok. I’ll play along....
1 No. Mosley is a quality player. Why trade for a pick or cut for relief of cap space. 3rd round crap shoot for a proven player ???
2. Cut Williams
3 Absolutely not
4. I’m ok with that scenario
5 I’m Ok with that scenario
6. Trade Bell. His running style doesn’t fit with the scheme After watching Powell last week....I’m not sure the line is entirely at fault here
7. resign Anderson to cap friendly deal
8 Why trade Herndon ??? Good player on a rookie deal. resign Griffin and use them both
9 resign Pool
10. Absolutely not. Williams has much more upside than Foley or Shepherd

Just my 2 cents.

Re-signing Khalil would be barking mad. Lewis and Shell may be backups but our shiny new O-line will need backups, and O linemen are at a premium. Even Jets backups (Dozier) are finding jobs elsewhere. Can't get rid of our #1 draft pick after one average season, unless someone makes a stupid offer. Sometimes guys bloom late, look at Clowney this season, he's suddenly a monster.
