Offense play calls ?

I didn’t realize the jets had an offense
I know it’s awful like Denver’s last year. Tells Defenses every play run or pass. Running QB with a RB and pass like Ravens would help your QB. I don’t get his blah play calls. Feel like I’m watching High School football. I’m surprised many fans haven’t noticed this. Awful and can’t score telling defenses every single play what’s coming being pass or run.
If the Raiders win it's not because they are good, it's only because of Jets incompetence.
I have been a Jet fan for longer than I care to admit and I’m befuddled by other Jets fans.
When things go bad, it’s always the coordinator calling lousy plays or the QB sucks or both .
In my time, I have experienced Paul Hackett and now his son Nate and both has gotten a bad rap by this fan base . I had no problem with Paul and I have no problem with Nate . If this team could ever get a competent QB and some semblance of an OL, it would be amazing how competent these men would become.
Do you folks realize that the best stretch of decent offensive football in recent Jet history was orchestrated by one of the most disliked jets OC .
Coaches coach and players play and to my knowledge coaches don’t coach turning the ball over or committing drive killing penalties .

I have been extremely resistant to blame Hackett for the offensive play calling. Forget Denver and having a QB that really needs a certain type of offensive system to thrive (see Seattle and Geno reclamation project), but Hackett has shown to be a great OC at many stops and did it with both Superstar QB's and journeyman.
We spent nauseating time last season blaming LaFleur for not being able to put an offense together that could make "Zach the hack" look great! Remove Zach from the offense and we literally had the #1 freakn offense in the league!!! Has the play calling been questionable at times this year?? Yes, but take a step back and realize he is not coaching his offense, he is coaching whatever version of his offense he thinks Zach isn't going to fuck up! He is trying his best to coach around the albatross in the room and give him credit because he's done more with Zach than LaFleur did (people keep saying he is more confident, and his turnovers are down), so Hackett has done a commendable job with the bumb hand he was dealt.
Our OC has 100% been coaching scared! He isn't coaching scared because he's afraid the offense won't work! He's coaching scared because he knows Zach won't work!! The O line play has improved (yet our QB still can't get the ball out), we've had some bad drops and we've had drops because the QB can't place the ball and has guys lunging for it and getting blown up trying to catch it.
The OC isn't the problem. Like it or not, accept it or not, we all know what the problem is! Everything else we are seeing on the offense is a direct reflection of the problem we refuse to address.

These guys are so bad that there are plenty of daggers to go around for all
So develop a QB you drafted for his accuracy and movement passing from BYU and Not designing plays to show his talents and strengths is stupid! That’s what you do for Rookie QB by playing to his strengths and confidence! GM seen it and drafted him for these strengths but Coaches didn’t watch Zach’s talents at BYU and in his messed up second season Jets still don’t play to Zach strengths. This is what Steelers and many teams do from day one making QB confidence stay positive using his talents you drafted him for. Instead Jets destroyed Zach confidence by all the mess Jets did to Zach. Call plays to Zach’s strengths to build his confidence you destroyed
No OC in the world can coach around Zach's deficiencies! See Jamarcus Russell! Talent does not equal a viable player

Zach definitely sucks, but there are a few things he do and Hackett can't draw up the right plays for the offense. The WR's can't get open many times. Hackett in recent years has been good with Rodgers and terrible with both Wilsons. Russ is playing much better with a real coach even though he is a douche. He was right about Hackett as a HC. This is an offense that the GM thought a QB would fix and maybe Rodgers would have covered a lot, but I knew he wasn't going to make it long behind JD excellent OL.
Zach. see the end zone grab the ball before the Ref's put it down & head for the endzone gate....We will leave it open for you...Just keep running
What the Jets needed in the worst way was a competent QB Coach who was well known throughout the NFL. The same goes for a OC. We always search the bottom of the barrel for our Coaches, GM's OC and DC. The last good Coach we had was Rex Ryan, but he worked with an Idiot named Idzik who refused to sign talented players that Rex wanted. Now we have a GM who thinks he has exceptional talent in signing FA Offensive linemen
