For the second year in a row, the "best player in the draft" dropped into their laps.
Maybe things ARE turning around.
I still think the best pass defense is putting the opposing QB on his ass before he releases the ball. But all reports say he is a special talent. And you can't have too many of those.

Didn't love that Adams ran a 4.56 at the combines, but he ran a much faster 4.33 at his pro day.

Some had Malik Hooker over Adams & not sure why. Others had Adams as the 2nd best overall player on the board. Well I cant complain when a high ranked Player falls to my Jets! Williams was no.1 & fell to Jets & that turned out. Be interesting to see what Jets take in 2nd round.
We still need to find that pass rusher that we haven't had since John Abraham left. Hopefully Bowles can get the defense he needs to run his blitzes. He has speed on the defense but there's more work to be done
I cannot believe Adams was available. I just can't believe it.
Honestly, I thought if the Jets wanted Adams, they would have had to move up. That he was there at #6 is a minor miracle. To me, this pick could be for the secondary what the Williams pick was for the DL.

And give up their first born to get him. They HAD to jump the Browns, it would seem.
Yea I'm hoping that this is the case. Now all that we need is for Sheldon Richardson to be traded soon. I feel like Adams would be the leader on this defense but Sheldon would be the only obstacle to that

Browns should have listened to me and traded up to 6 with the Jets for Mahomes.
I have Mahomes going way ahead of Watson in my final mock. I had the Browns trading all the way up to 6 for Mahomes.
