I like the range . We can trade the 4th pick and take the Guard from N C State at 10 and our TE at 35 .
IMO the RG from NC St will be gone by the 10th pick and McBride will be gone by the 35th pick.

It would be interesting to see what we can get for #4. I guess a lot depends on the shuffling of the deck with prospects, particularly QBs who test well in the pre-draft process. If one or two really assert themselves, it could make #4 very valuable.

If you've been looking at the mock draft boards, the "experts" are mostly predicting the Jets will go for CB Stingley and S Hamilton.
Have these folks been watching Jets games?
I'm all for having a good defense, but if they don't do something to improve the offensive line, the Jets will be losing a lot of 7-0 games because the quarterback will be in the hospital by mid year.
Unless they can keep Wilson healthy, this team won't be able to score at a crack party.
One of those top picks must be used for another lineman who can pass block.
Besides, the young defensive backs are starting to look better with experience.

1.) i think you're onto something...complete the line. the good news is that C, RG, and RT can be filled with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round pick.
2.) i think you're onto something...Bryce, Carter II, Echols are all NFL Starters. why use an extremely high pick for a cherry on top player?
3.) i think you're onto something...we do need Safety help, but again why a cherry on top player like Hamilton when you can have a studs in the 3rd; Leon Jones Jr., Verone McKinley, Smoke Monday are just a few.

you have to understand there is maybe one or two sites that are mocking for everyone but a lot of sites that are listed are factoring in a way to mock for their home teams
Kyle Hamilton makes sense if you look at the type of players Saleh's defense utilizes... Safeties play key part of his defense, either hybrid linebacker role or coverage safeties... Hamilton used to play linebacker before moving to safety so technically he is that hybrid player that Saleh covets... But is it a NEED?
We know our GM focuses on the trenches first and our defensive line albeit strong it is NOT complete... But neither is our offensive line... With two top ten picks what do we focus on or do we take one as a luxury pick and use the other on a NEED?
the logical option is let the board play out and at the fourth pick if a team wants to trade up for one of the top two quarterbacks or the top offensive lineman then maybe JD can fleece them for more now and future draft capitol but none of those sites will post those type of trades because right now it is not in the cards before free agency occurs...
If the Jets were to take Hamilton he would be converted to LBer . I don’t see it happening.

Dilemma for a team like Houston that is planning to take a defender with their first round pick... The stated choices are between EDGE and Stingley Jr. -- meaning they would take either of Hutchinson or Thibodeaux whomever falls to them if not they take Stingley Jr.
For top 10 Offensive Linemen (OT from Alabama, NC State, Texas A & M, Center from Iowa) we should be able to get one of these gems with pick #10.
of the four one makes sense but he won't last until 10 because Giants look to be planning to take two OL with 5th and 7th picks...
