I wouldn't mind seeing Nakobe Dean at 38. Then 3 levels of the defense would take a massive jump IMO.

Barring another trade, #38 is going to be very interesting since we have a big wait until our 3rd rounder. Where do you go with the pick, McBride? Pitre?, Top IDL (Hall/Winfrey/Jones)? Top OL (Raimann/Jurgens)? Day two has a ton of intrigue for me. JD has the opportunity to stack a couple of rooms like he did in round one.

DT Jones from UConn would be a good pick. A Linebacker (Troy Anderson). I'm not a fan of Dean. Would have loved Quay Walker, but G.B. Snatched him in Rd 1.

We may have reached a few places for the sauce, but if we can pick up a LB, a backup tackle who is better than Edoga/McDermott, and a banger RB to spell MC then we will really have filled our boots in this draft.

I mentioned my preferences in another thread, but basically, you’ve got a lot to choose from with that 38 pick. There are lots of LB opportunities left. Love to see that happen. Or maybe Raimann at OT. Every TE and RB are still there. We’re gonna get a player here. Long wait after that, though, unless trader Joe has something else up his sleeve.

I think JD’s a very good GM. His trades are unbelievable. The Darnold and Adams trades were highway robbery. And I love the way he’ll go up and get his guy (AVT, JJ). It’s crazy to me how much some fans bitch and moan about him. He’s light years better than Macc and Idzik but I guess that’s still not good enough.

I would think a guy like Pitre at 38. Would love to grab Raimann there but I think someone is going to grab him before then. A little too early for some of the LB's I like IMO. This is one of those wait and see picks at 38. So many ways to go.

I want to target Jalen Pitre a pure FS and Demone Clark a LBer who might call because he’s currently recovering from injury with our next 2 picks . Might be interested in Logan Hall at IDL and Pierre Strong at RB along with a developmental TE and or maybe another WR.

i am wondering if we go for the best safety for Saleh's backfield with 38, or if JD parlays 38 into multiple picks.
with as many players still there who received 1st round grades, it's hard to see teams not trying to move up.

but we can get difference makers at LB, Safety, and the OLine in the 3rd and 4th, right?

T- Darian Kinard... 3rd or 4th?
DT Matt Henningsen... 4th or 5th; this guys has a RAS of 9.7

Macc and Idzik have set the bar very low. Some of those here who are very favorable towards JD have also been very favorable towards Macc. ... 2-14, 4-13, 2022 is the slow burn improvement of which you were weary.
