For what its worth, below is my own updated TOP 10. I don’t have Louisville dropping out of the TOP 4 because they barely lost to another TOP 4 team in their backyard, and it took a WR going brain-dead on 4th down for Clemson to hang on for the win. If James Quick cuts inside and fights for that first down (or touchdown) instead of bolting for the sidelines, I have no doubt Louisville wins that game. Lamar Jackson was not going to be denied. Even in defeat, IMO Jackson only enhanced his Heisman credentials and Louisville ABSOLUTELY looked like a National Championship Team too me.
Who has a better chance at knocking off Alabama, Louisville with this phenom at QB, or Washington, Michigan, Houston et al.?
I think most objective observers would say Louisville and Lamar Jackson, and I'm one of them.
- Alabama
- Clemson
- Ohio State
- Louisville
- Washington
- Michigan
- Houston
- Texas A&M
- Tennessee
- Miami
