I am beginning to wonder if Justin Burris will make the 53 man roster? Since the opening preseason game his play has been nothing short of awful. He's been getting torched by 3's and really not showing much improvement. IMO, assuming he doesn't have a huge game against the Eagles in the preseason finale. He should be placed on the practice squad. Burris just has not done enough to unseat guys like Marcus Williams.

Jets officially placed Devin Smith on the PUP so he'll miss the first six weeks, but this gives them a roster exemption, so they only need to cut 14 in total to get down to 75

They have made 11 cuts so far, so there's 3 more to go.

actually with this regime they are strategic in their moves... they actually like Kyle Friend but need a viable backup for Nick Mangold... looks like Wesley Johnson has competition in Dakota Dozier... neither of these two qualify for practice squad so one will win and one will be done... opening the chance to then develop a prospect like Friend on the psquad...

The PS rules were revised this year, so you are allowed to put a limited number of vets on the PS

I don't remember the exact number, but guys like Wes Johnson and Dozier are eligible now.
