Can he make the rest of our selections?
I certainly did not want to go QB at #39, but I loathe the Maye pick. Sure, the game is changing, and with the focus on TEs and slot guys, safeties and DB depth are increasingly important. But are you serious?
Maybe you don't feel comfortable with Sidney Jones' achilles. Fine. But there were other CBs who were solid picks at that spot.Tabor. Wilson. Awuzie, I believe, was still available.

They were so high on him, they tried to trade for Garoppolo and McCarron before taking him.
As bad as the Jets' second round pick was, the Browns had a ton of draft capital, and have totally screwed the pooch at QB.
I think all of you are missing the point
The Jets management cares about you personally. They want your life to be as stress free as possible. They want to save you from spending your hard earned money. They run the team to insure that you will never have to worry over having to get season tickets so you would have access to post season tickets, or even having to pay out huge dollars to go to such games. They want you to have an easy exit from the stadium and quick out from the parking lot after the games you do go to so they hold down the crowds. They want to be sure that you can plan vacations in January or February way in advance.
Change is stressful and nothing changes here. They are very careful to insure that. The Jets care about you and you should be thankful.

Might be a bit extreme. I dislike the pick, as well, but if Jets fans expect to get a regime where they agree with every move, they will never be happy.
Honestly, the way I feel right now, and this was a long time coming, what happened tonight was just the straw that broke the camels back, but the way I feel right now, I would be relieved if news broke tomorrow that the Jets were moving to another state or being outright retracted. Both would put me out of my misery and give me a chance to pick another team to root for. This franchise is so pathetic its almost hard to believe.
Also both of the small school stud TE's I listed got picked a few picks later, as did Sidney Jones ... and we doubled up on Safeties, which is truly unbelievable.

I just knew, though, when I heard King and Robinson go early that I would not be happy with the direction the Jets went here.
