But IMO the Jets just drafted the best player in the draft at #3 overall, and I say that as an avid fan of college football who saw every snap this kid played in 2018. Absolute monster. Reminded me of the late Jerome Brown. Just an absolute wrecking machine.
PS. I suspect Gregg Williams will be moving to a base 4-3 now.

I wanted Allen but it is what it is. I’ll say it once again, if Q turns doesn’t turn out to be the next W. Sapp or R. White then this will be very frustrating. L. Williams was supposed to be all world three years ago, just like this kid and L. Williams has been better then average at best. We need a game changer, a true dog and first ballot HOFer. Hopefully Q will turn out to be that and it’s not like it’s to late for L. Williams to do the same. Maybe with the addition of Q, it will open things up for L. Williams to do the same or force L. Williams to step his game up. Either way, L. Williams has to be better then what he’s been so far.
Note: Hopefully the Jets don’t end up regretting not drafting J. Allen or better yet, trading down!

The Raiders just got a heck of a player. I watched him a lot this year. He is really good.
with respect, i for the life of me understand can't why that makes you feel better about not drafting the best edge rusher in the draft..
YUP, their next L. Taylor or M. Stratham, Wow!!!
And with our luck, he'll out sack the entire Jets DL this year.
And the NY papers will be printing that comparison all f'n year.

What do you mean, Jets trading back into the first round with the Bills to take Allen? NO WAY, that would take the Jets next two first rounders, their two third round picks this year and more. If that’s where your going with this, HELL NO, we still have ALOT of other needs and edge rusher/LB will have to get pushed to the back burner now with this Q. Williams pick.
