I would argue that they're not playing that well. On paper, it's a very good roster.

If the roster isn't that good, then Saleh was not the issue. I do not believe that to be the case.
I think we have a lot of overrated players. Quinnen, Breece and Sauce are not playing up to what people think they are.

Just in case it hasn’t been pointed out yet, with Robert Saleh the Jets destroyed the Patriots earlier this year. Without him, they just lost to the Patriots and haven’t won a game yet. Their defense has gotten much worse and they seem to be a much more disorganized, confused, disgruntled and overall worse team. I wonder what Woody and A. Rodgers is thinking now? Be careful what you wish for!

Why would you copy and paste the same thing in every post on the forum

If we’re being honest, we could all copy and paste our first comments on a Jet site each and every season. We have the same complaints every single year

might save some carpal tunnel surgeries cutting down on typing
But that's once per season, not once per thread

Just to emphasize how stupid it was for the Jets/Woody Johnson to have fired Saleh before this season ended. Also, for the Jets fans that truly wanted this to happen, I really wanted to know how they are feeling now about this move. Yes, I know it was severe overkill but sometimes, it just is what it is!

I thought it would light a fire under the team. I was wrong. This team is overrated at all positions. They have a broken down QB. There are some decent players, but IMO none are impact players. That includes Sauce, Garrett and Breece. They had moments as rookies and have either fallen off the cliff since or haven't developed to what was expected. Quinnen Wilkerson can be added to that list. Jets already wasted a huge contract on this guy and will probably do the same for Sauce which IMO should be traded to recoup some draft picks. Garrett wait and see. Breece will be let go or traded. They drafted his replacement. Probably stuck with Quinnen.

I think Saleh should have been fired after last year. Watching him seemingly over his head his whole time as HC and watching him win meaningless games to make his record look good at end of season made fans want to give him time.

Yup that’s me
The only one here
Still I don’t think it’s Aaron
I think it’s the hierarchy leadership of this team
Ownership GM coaching staff
That’s what’s breaking this team

Let’s see if Aaron can overcome all that BS
Its probably too late
But I’ll give up on loss # 8

ARod was done is Green Bay, and the Packers knew it very well. They have a very solid GM who's completely independent in making football decisions (as opposed to a clueless owner who would always try to interfere in order to make a "splash" here and there).
This type of dynamics also makes Florham Park not exactly a highly desired landing spot for an established GM or HC.

When Saleh was here, the team play hard and they played together. They played with passion and drive, especially the defense. We see how much they are missing him now!

Not throwing shade at Brich, but he just has too much on his plate. Saleh didn’t have a quarterback or the oline to help him. We all thought that he had it this year and he should have, but it just didn’t work out. He still should’ve been able to get the entire year to see where this could’ve landed but oh well!

It would’ve been bogus to have fired him at the end of last year, but it still would’ve been better and firing him during the first quarter of the season. They are about to lose again tonight and about 5-7 more times this year. So how much better are they, now that he is gone?

Aaron is nowhere near the player he was in Green Bay. We all know that, that’s obvious, but he hasn’t gained anything to make up for his lost talent. In Green Bay he wasn’t a leader at all, but his talent was so emmence that he made that up for his Leadership. Now his talent has diminished and he still not a leader. That doesn’t bode well for the Jets and has sorely helped in there demise.

What Corley did wasn't a rookie mistake. It was an undisciplined punk mistake. He was trying to show how cool he is rather than concentrating on getting the job done.

Later
Absolutely
He should have got ripped on the sideline by the entire coaching staff
