I don't know whether to laugh or be angry.
I get wanting to have every player's back. But Wilson lost the locker room during the second New England game, he lost the coaches afterward, and last night, he lost the organization.
Yeah the Jets aren't winning 9 games and I bet they din't win 8.
Just watched it. What an ugly game. Hard to find a good performance from a Jets' player. Defensive ends getting caught inside and allowing Lawrence long runs. Offensive line not only weak but giving away a string of penalties. The writing was on the wall when Q forced a fumble in the red zone a few minutes in and the offense went backwards and only got a field goal. I don't remember one play in the Jag's end zone. Strev added a spark and was unlucky with a couple of plays from his receivers. He is clearly the second best QB on this roster and should probably start the dead rubbers in Seattle and Miami, no point in risking MW's health. Zach should be parked until a QB competition in next year's training camp. We need a left tackle, a right tackle (if AVT isn't going to play there) and a big run-stuffer for the middle of the D line.

I honestly, even in Jetland can not believe what’s going on here. Never seen anyone so hated before or someone as lost as this kid. If he wasn’t getting paid 30 mil, I’d feel bad for him. Very bad. Personally I’m amazed at some of the passes he misses. So simple, like playing catch. I dont see how he could ever come back here after being replaced by the 4th string Qb who, as with the 2nd and 3rd, also looked a lot better. Can’t imagine he’d want to come back either. If I were him, I don’t think I could show my face at practice again. EverI’ll confess

I wish Zach would have worked out. I feel real bad for the kid. The NFL is just too big for him right now. I was sad for Darnold too, but he was never given a real chance. Zach was and has struggled.I’ll confess

I would be shocked if he plays in New York again. He needs a fresh start somewhere where he can hopefully be taught how to read defenses and how to improve accuracy.
That game at New England a month ago was the worst QB play I've ever seen, but yesterday's first half wasn't that far behind. The team looks completely uninspired/disengaged with him at the helm, and you just can't easily revert that.

last night was almost like watching wilson have a nervous breakdown on national TV..

Quarterbacks, teams and play-calling have to achieve a 'fit' if the QB's are to reach their full potential. Even Hall of Fame greats can look less than stellar when they move to a new team and the fit's not good.
Mr. Zachary Wilson, to pick a QB at random, might well have a good fit with the , , , on second thought, that wouldn't work. Of course, he could always go to the . . . no, he wouldn't fit well there, either. But wait a minute. What about the . . . er, not a chance.
Maybe the Jets could have a yard sale and put him on the 'Marked Down For Quick Sale' table.

Don't worry butter. I've got it under control. The many years of being a Jets fan has made me real callused to such dramatic losses. I still believe that this team is a playoff caliber team. The defense had a less than stellar showing this time but over all they have been exceptional. It's the "O" line that has struggled all season. Many will blame that on Lefleur but he isn't the real culprit. These guys are simply not executing on a consistent level and that's partly because of the player turnover caused by injuries. Mostly though it's because of execution and dumb penalties. Fant had more than his fair share of those this week. False start penalties really aggravate me and holding penalties are, in my mind, equivalent to playing for the opposing team. The only time I forgive a holding penalty is when it's done to prevent an impending touchdown. These contributed almost as much to the loss this week as the non-blocking of the guys on the "O" line. The Jets have to get better and for heavens sake stronger on this line. I sincerely hope you are right about Becton being back, hopefully able to stay healthy, because guys like him and AVT are exactly what this "O" line needs to become dominant. It will all come out in the wash though and hopefully this off season JD will load up the washing machine.

Darnold is at least winning in Carolina recently since they dumped Mayfield. They also traded McCaffrey. He basically has no talent around him and he is doing enough. He is currently thumping a Lions team Zach couldn't do enough against. I don't think he will be a great QB in the NFL, but I do think he will be in the NFL. I'm not sure Zach will be. The issue for both Zach and Sam is they were drafted by the Jets.I’ll confess
