So they were in the playoffs last year, they have one meltdown with their starting QB injured, and Spanos fires the GM and HC. But we have to remember that the problem with our franchise is impatience.
Yeah,"impatience" since the 1968 season. Most sentient people would have burned down this crap heap decades ago. Always the same. Nothing changes.
Good for Spanos for seeing that whatever Staley sold him 2.5 years ago isn't working. The Jet way? Hold the fort for three, four, five years and then come to the same conclusion.
Arguably, the fan base constantly nagging about "impatience" is even more frustrated than the rest of the suffering fans. It's just a different (more self-righteous) way of expressing it.
Most of them haven't done enough research with other fan bases to actually see what real and irrational impatience means.
If anything, the recent history supports excessive patience that has usually extended the losing culture of our team. After all, name one GOOD Head Coach and/or QB we've been impatient with!

I’m getting older by the second and I don’t have time to look down the road at anything. I’m more into slowing down time as much as I can and enjoying minute by minute. To that end, I take it day at a time, game at a time. Up next the fish cakes . One play at a time and let’s see what happens.
