The New York Jets (4-7) seek to snap a four-game losing streak when they host the Atlanta Falcons (5-6) at MetLife Stadium in Week 13.

Swapping Zach Wilson for Tim Boyle didn't seem to make much of a difference for the Jets, who fell in an AFC East matchup to the Miami Dolphins 32-13 last week. Boyle went 27-of-38 for 179 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. The defense picked off Tua Tagovailoa twice.

The Falcons, on the other hand, got back in the win column last week by beating the New Orleans Saints 24-15. Desmond Ridder threw two interceptions, but Bijan Robinson had 123 total yards and two touchdowns.

Bad as the Jets are, I'm gonna say that Boyle leads them to a meaningless 'W' in this one.

Abanikanda was a DNP yesterday due to 'illness'. It seems he had to have some pine splinters extracted from his butt.

This is the Jets way! They will win some meaningless games to assure we jack up the draft spot. Being a NY Jets fans, the gift that keeps giving :ROFLMAO:

If the Jets win, it's meaningless. If they lose, it's yet another ho-hum, what else is new?

It's a wonder the Jets and the Jets fans show up at a game.

Go flag-free, Gang Green! [Ed.: and ditch those black uniforms. Jets = green, right?]

If we are eliminated from Playoff contention then ever win plays against our draft standing. At this point I'd like to see improvement on the offensive side (win or lose), but we cannot continue to put up these putrid stinkers on offense

Hi, hatnlvr.

The Jets, being the Jets, will not get first draft pick nor, possibly, any of the early picks. They will do well, I think, to concentrate on the offensive* front 5 and, through replacement in some positions, change their present "Open borders" policy.

Then, with at least some protection for the QB, they can see what can be done with the present stock. It's worth remembering that Mr. Aaron Rodgers is perhaps, to put it kindly, a tad fragile.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

I've been pissed at Woody The J's tenure, as well as the team's abysmal performance, for a while now. A long while.

I was a fan since 1965 and bought all sorts of merchandise (for family members and me, gifts, etc.) over the decades. Things like Jerseys, t-shirts, baby onesies and bibs, hats, etc. Right now? Only a Jet key ring for my car remains. Once I saw Zach Wilson on the field again this year, I took even that logo off. This team and its ownership/management just destroys a person's good will and soul.

I agree, the front 5 need to be rebuilt but I'm not convinced it can be done solely through the draft. I think the team is going to have to approach the O line holistically and draft, trade & go after free agents to try to fix this. It's not just a problem of talent, we also have no depth.

Hi, hatnlvr. [Strange handle, that.]

Continuing your thoughts, building a good offensive front five will take a couple of seasons as a minimum. Hopefully, the great defensive squad won't lose too many players in the interim. The QB, at this point, isn't really all that important as long as he's willing . . . and durable. I have my doubts about all but Sackable Zack in that respect. Hopefully, Mr. Aaron Rodgers, should he again take the field, has a deal with the play-caller that only plays in which he's rid of the ball in three seconds or less will be used.

Looking forward to tomorrow's [12/3/2023] game. I hope it's at least close.

Go flag-free, Gang Green!

Parcells fixed our O line in one offseason. It can be done and can be done fast, but you need someone who knows WTF they are doing.

Tomorrow's game promises to be another played in the wet. A relatively steady rain is on tap. The number of dropped catchable passes, fumbles, and flags will be high. The choice of Jet QB will not matter very much.

Go flag-free, Gang Green!
