Unless L. Jackson doesn’t play this game or their defense is horrible, the Jets lose this one by 10-17 points. Turnovers will kill us and the the fact that Flacco isn’t mobile at all will hurt us bad. I just don’t see it in Joe Flacco at all. If I’m wrong then so be it but I don’t.

I don’t know how much better our chances would have been with Zach. I would like to think they would have moderately better, if not significantly better but maybe I’m wrong in that. With Zach the Jets may have still lost but our chances (in my opinion) would be been much. Plus a more exciting game to watch!

The Jets went from Wilson has a chance to start on opening day to he’s out until week 4 at the earliest. Gee I wonder what else change that might have affected that sudden turnaround. Could it be that with the projected starting LT now also out for approximately the same time and having to start a rookie RT from the U of weak sisters might have cause the powers that be to sacrifice Flacco instead of Wilson .

Brown now on IR, will miss at least four games. Hard to see us going four games without another injury at the tackle spot, even if Mitchell turns out to be gold dust. We are going to need conservative play calling, don't drop back and expose your QB on obvious passing downs. Shame Streveler isn't the backup, he has a quick release and is the sort of guy who can run past unblocked pass rushers.
