It's just an uncomfortable feeling watching the games this year. My instincts are always to root them on but I know we are not going anywhere with a 38 year old QB with a history of just being a backup. Not sure what going 7-9 or 8-8 buys us, long term, if McCown starts all year. This is short term gain when we should be looking at the most important question - finding the franchise QB and seeing if Petty or Hack can be that. The only thing that makes sense is they have their designs on going after Cousins next year.

Don't like the showmanship from this generation, but at least we have a good locker room which is equally as important as a franchise QB.
The defense is flying around and being physical. That can take us a long way.
Solid performance. Unfortunately the principal beneficiaries were the Patriots, who are now almost locked in to another AFC East title. We need to decide whether McCown is coming back next year, since after this result there is no way he doesn't start after the bye.
This team has the unity we've all been waiting for since week 1. No pre-maddonnas ,no "me" players and most importantly, no media leakers. Bowles has done an excellent job this year, EXCELLENT.
Make sure you duck when you say that around here.

I want to be fair when referring to Toilet so I should point this out.......
If my memory serves me correctly, the Jets had beaten ONE team with a winning record in both 2015 and 2016 combined?
Well, the Jets have just beat their THIRD winning team this season? Honestly, is this a pattern we are seeing? Now, I don't want to go nuts, two of those wins came against opponents that the Jets know all too well. But beating Jax was something of a rather special feat. Jax can be very schizophrenic, but they still have a lot of talent and they have beaten before and after us, opponents that are very good teams. The Jets beating Jax was really an encouraging thing.......

Well, the players really played well and with enthusiasm, motivation, but don't forget the Jets were still heavily penalized on Thursday. Everyone, including Toilet, knows what this teams issues are on defense. They commit way too many penalties and they get run on all day long. The Bills was in sharp contrast because the Jets defended the running game so well. That's a very good thing.
But what happened when it comes to the penalties? If not for that, this would have been probably an even better performance all around than the first Dolphins game........
This win is something to build on. It gives me a renewed interest in the Jets. Defense is playing better and better. Lower the penalties. keep the faith!
