No need to delete it. I wouldn't have minded a loss.

But I'm not going to sit here and act and pretend that winning today's game is some type of "DISASTROUS WIN"; because it's not.

Did you see Trevor Lawrence look like crap and collapse on that final drive? I'm glad we missed out on him. He looked like a gigantic PUSSY running out of bounds instead of putting his head down and fighting for a game winning TD.

I’ll say this, I didn’t see a generational talent out there today. Jets defense, which isn’t good to begin with, was down to other teams practice squad players in the secondary and the starting D line out with Covid.
I think a 6’6 225 lbs QB, with a head of steam could’ve blasted his way for the game winning TD. I get he went out of bounds, stopped the clock, 4 chances at the win.
The thing is, I believe, a generational talent would’ve found a way to win. Especially against this defense, especially how depleted it was

TL showed self preservation, he wasn't playing to win a playoff game
He was protecting himself from getting blown up
Preventing himself to suffer an injury like Zach did in the beginning of the season

To each our own and I disagree. He had a chance to run into the ENDZONE because he's built like a horse and instead he ran out of bounds and prevented his team from winning the game.

he is not built like a horse, he has speed but no boom to his running style...
maybe he thought he would get his hair dirty I mean he needs those locks for his Subway commercials...

as of right now standings are thus

Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 1 pick 2 - 13
Detroit Lions with the No. 2 pick 2 - 12 - 1
Houston Texans with the No. 3 pick (loss to the Jets) 4 - 11
New York Jets with the No. 4 pick (with today's win) 4 - 11
New York Giants (Bears) playing now but No. 5 4 - 10
New York Giants (own) about to lose but have the No. 6 pick 4 - 10 about to be 11th (strength of schedule would have them here )

Looks like Detroit and Jacksonville have clinched the first two spots. The Texans finish with the Niners and Titans so they should manage to lose out. Fourth is likely as good as it gets.

Detroit wins the final two games because of that tie if the Jets lose the final two games the Jets would have the better pick...
If the Texans win one of the two then the Jets would end up with the No. 2 Overall pick behind Jacksonville who would pick No. 1 for the 2nd consecutive year...

But until the games are played not getting into what ifs...

Enjoy today's win. Don't worry about the draft position stuff.

It won't matter in the grand scheme if Zach Wilson becomes a bonafide franchise QB.

Hard fought game and the Jets pulled it out. Gotta give them credit. Wilson is looking berettas well. Baby steps but he’s taking them and I’m happy for that.

I agree statistically he is making improvements. I just want to see one game where he throws for 300+ yards, 2+ TD's and no turnovers. Against the Bills would be amazing and having them not win the East. They haven't won a division game since 2019. That would be a nice win that would mean something going into next year.
