What is the beef with Lafluer and Mims? Why won’t he play this kid? He could’ve easily taken 30 snaps away from Moore and Berrios, in whatever order worked best and given them to Mims, and that might’ve been a difference in the game.

I don't know, but in preseason Mims had food poisoning and from there it was like he was on the shit list...
now after the Philly preseason game when Denzel balled out one would figure that he would earn a role but after what we saw he was on the bench until the 4th quarter...
maybe LaFleur will make changes but remember we will get Crowder back and Cole back which means less attempts for Berrios, J. Smith and definitely Mims... Unless Saleh steps in and states we need to add this young guys talent because he can help us help Wilson help the run game, but it is wait n see on this...

This is bullshit! Obviously they know more than us but the proof is in the putting on the field. Moore got 57 snaps and only 2 catches at most for about 20 yards (I’m just guessing here). He had two key drops and MAYBE, it was just one bad game but you put Mims in for only two snaps and a 44 yard catch like that.
Isn’t it obvious the kid needs to be on the field constantly? How can’t Lafleur not see this! He should have seen it the way Mims played in the pre-season. I don’t care who’s coming back, this kid should be the other starter and the rest can work their way in the middle and dominate in that aspect. They all fit that slot mode anyway.

RB both our power backs that could of soften the pass rush with power runs up the middle were inactive...
WR we had one with covid and the other had knee injury... So instead of utilizing the skill set of all the receivers active they focused in on Corey Davis and rookie Elijah Moore with Braxton Berrios getting more reps then he should... Mims, Jeff Smith were M.I.A. all day until Denzel with that down the sidelines catch after he was decoy to get Berrios wide open...
Tight Ends, Griffin saw the most snaps and had a couple catches... Kroft was in there but was really kept quiet and Wesco well he was in there to block... Daniel Brown was special teams only...
DL how many players actually saw the field? JFM, Huff, S Lawson, Q, Foley, Rankins even though we have talent here and depth we need to be able to figure out if we need Nathan Sheperd, Jonathan Marshall and Tim Ward on the active roster...
CB like DL we have talent, we have depth, we have four potential starters yet we are hindered at safety with Davis on IR, Neasman on IR and an injured LaMarcus Joyner... Maybe Javelin Guidry or MC2 even Pinnock can convert to safety... We are going to need someone to step in at linebacker or come down in the box and of all our safeties I would trust is Maye... Marcus could stabilize the linebacker position with Mosley and Nasirildeen... If Sherwood is unable...
This team has potential but we have holes, that can be addressed via trades or signing some veterans off other practice squads..
We've seen this before, some coaches lean on their guys... LaFleur favored Tevin Coleman and Michael Carter over Ty Johnson... Corey Davis and Elijah Moore are his guys... Tyler Kroft is his guy... It sucks but it is what it is...
Just like how Saleh and Ulbrich talked how Brandin Echols was competing for CB1 Bless Austin spot and look they cut Austin and Echols is a starter... It is how they are going to handle this roster until they get out of their own ways and the players start talking not outspoken but speaking up to the coaches will things correct themselves...
Yeah it is what it is and your right about that! Hopefully they figure this out because it’s one thing to lose and go out swinging with everything you have and to not!!! They lost this game but with a few changes, it could have most likely been a W. Starting Mims and Ty Johnson and playing them most of the game could have been that. The oline was a issue that was what it was, unless starting Moses would have made that much of a difference but not utilize all their offensive weapons, that is a problem. Playing Mims and Ty Johnson more could have made a huge difference!
