Exactly. Sauce got away with a bunch of egregious grabs/holds last season.

My only concern is that Zach missed a bunch of throws, a couple for TDs. Yeah, I guess he played better than the sack of dog crap we have watched the last three seasons. But it's nothing to write home about. KC did not play their best game tonight, especially on defense.
He did play pretty good with one major mistake. He can build off it, but I would still have a short leash if he reverts to being Zach.

Big problem in this game is that we did nothing after evening the score at 20.
The fix was in when the refs conferred right before the 3rd and 12. "Roger says do what you gotta do" , and the refs did. Between the no holding on the OL, Taylor (LT) continuously starting early, no intentional grounding it was obvious the longer we stayed in the game we weren't gonna be in the game.

When it was 20-20 they needed to run Breece. Having Zach drop back 40 times its a loss everytime.
If Mahomes didn't throw the game away at 17-0, they lose by 40.
I don’t even know how to respond to this! Odds say most likely he will but who knows. Maybe Hackett figured something out to help the kid. Take the gloves off and just let him play football. Maybe Zach figured something out as well. Trust what you see and stop doubting yourself. If the man is open, throw him the damn ball!

Can’t argue that but them letting him lead the team with his arm got them back into the game! We’ll see what they do next week. If they can manage to beat Denver and not necessarily struggle to do it, then maybe the tides will be slowly turning???
