me too. I hope the Jets don't do anything stupid and not resign him. Gase stinks but I do think a lot of the reasons the offense gets in its slumps is because Darnold is very inconsistent. Sometimes he makes these crazy throws and other times he misses the obvious ones.
Our offense at the skill positions isn't very far off.
WR: Keep Robby, DT and Crowder, get a number 1 receiver.
RB: I hope we keep Bell
TE: Herndon and Griffin are very good players.
The offense just needs a good offensive line to help Darnold out.
Both were terrible. The NFL must be populated with the most intensely idiotic people imaginable. The PI review should ONLY be for egregious errors like the one aginst NO last year. Other than that, leave the call on the field.
Right now I think Herndon is a complete ZERO. Can't stay on the field so he does us no good. Dump this tool and if one is available sign a guy who can actually play.
I'll second that. Didn't get to watch the game but judging from the game highlights and this site we looked like shit but lucked out with a win. Of course when you only beat the worst team in the NFL, that's tanking, by one point I find it hard to consider that a win especially when we will drop down another spot in the draft. We need more "O" line replacements than we can get in rounds one and two or even round three. Joe will have to be a miracle worker this off season.
Leave it to PFT to make a big thing of the DPI at the end that helped the Jets, and not even make the slightest mention of a Jets' pick six being wiped off the board by a terrible defensive holding call. Florio and his people continue to twist the narrative their own way.

Half the starters on the team are struggling to stay on the field this season so I wouldn't hold that against a player with his talent unless next season he fails us in a big way that gives us reason to give up on him.
We were awful, especially on offense and not due to the o line. The win drops us to 10th as of now, a loss would have put us at 6.
I agree with all but DT. Guy just drops too many passes.
I’m fine if we keep him or not. Most likely won’t bc as a fourth wideout the teams usually take people that are younger and have potential/ play ST.

Think more about this......He should embrace his new friend the ghost. He sticks by him all the time. He has had no real coaching, weapons bad OL but he has Casper.....don't be afraid of him Sam embrace him as your go to guy or gal. It may pale in comparison to a real friend or coach......but its all you got kid at the moment. The other thing is unlike the NY bars when you hang out with him....well......nobody will notice him in your company as long as you whisper to him,.......you will be good.
Look he needs time to see if he is the real deal..Lets see how he does next year
