Well Bart and Ray should be a hoot in a few minutes.
One of the saddest moments for a franchise is when you get blown out at home and all the fans left in the stands are from your opponent. That's where we are right now, my friends. Pathetic.
After tonight Webster's has this game as one of its definitions of pathos.
So, a shut out. At home no less. Bite me.

So tonight I'm eating a lot of crow for my hopeful outcome. It was painful to watch. And since it was Monday night football in front of the entire world, it should be no other way than the "Worst Jet shutout to the Patriots" in history. Of course. We are not prime time ready.
This was the most embarrassing loss in the history of the Jets including the Buttfumble.
So I just woke up to the shut out lose. I knew after the 17-0 lead that they were done and my modo now is, “ If they don’t want to play then it don’t want to watch.”
The Jets just aren’t no where near ready Jets faithful. We all just need to face it. I like most were hopeful that if they won this game that maybe they could go on a 7-8 game winning streak and a shot at the playoffs. Well even if they do that with the easy 6-7 game schedule they have coming up, they still will get crushed by the Ravens. They will probably lose to the Steelers and they will definitely lose to the Bills on the road so we’re cooked. The Jets have at least 2-3 years of true rebuilding (the correct way) before they will be ready.
What made this lose even worse is the fact that Darnold looked he didn’t have a clue out there and his “I’m seeing ghost” comment truly doesn’t help his viewing outlook from the NFL world. It’s going to be a long hard week Jets people!

They don't have an easy game on their schedule. They might not be better than the Dolphins. There has never been a worse performance by a QB. I tried to muster up some positivity after last week and I just can't anymore. Its the worst franchise in all of sports and has been for 50 years.
I see we both were either smart enough to not let the Jets ruin our night and next day or work even more then necessary. Or we are just too old to stay up and watch that BS and deal with working the next day. Either way, glad I got some rest and I’m ready for my hard day of work and true ass thrashing of bashing by my co-workers!

yeah, turning the game off at 24-0 was the right call.. honestly, after the defense just kept getting bent over on 3rd & 4th down the 1st drive it was already the deathblow
didn't think i would be reading about a darnold nightmare night spiking after starting with a pick & & lost fumble.. seeing ghosts too??
should be a fun day for all of us still in the workforce.. can't wait..

If u didn't understand that the game was over when the schedule was made, then u should have known it after the cheatah s marched the field as if they were playing against ghosts on the opening drive.
My wife was watching at this point. I told her to prepare for a Darnold fumble or int next. Apparently, we got both. How can you predict the crazy shi t that happens to this team and it's really true?

I'd only add: In the extreme.
it wasn't the lack of talent on the offensive line it was all the receivers were running medium to deep routes with the Patriots showing blitz...
one or two receivers in a three to four receiver set should be either running hot reads short cut routes to allow Darnold a place to go with the ball... four interceptions that means he was chucking it up for whomever wants it and apparently wasn't our guys...
not saying he is ruined but the comment that he was seeing ghosts, that is bad for a quarterback... he was mic'd up that was the other wrong thing to do, especially against this team in prime time... Gase is not established as a head coach, play caller and to this point he is proven he is not a quarterback friendly coach... Yes they beat up on Jason Garrett and the Cowboys hoorah...
there were no second half adjustments for two options the Patriots were running on defense... Cover 0 two ways...
