Today Zach sucked for a half plus 2 minutes
today the defense let us down on 3rd down
today the officials were against us(always)
today special teams let us down…
Today we stunk as a team…
We just can’t beat belichick

blame it on whoever or whatever you want. Today we looked like the same ole jets and we lost yet again to belichick. Collectively we sucked

and now instead of Being 6-2, we are now staring at 5-5 barring an act of God

i’ve said it before, when we’re good we deserve praise and when we are same ole, we deserve bashing

what if:
Zach doesn’t get better
the team loses faith in Zach and quits
we go 8-8 again next season and Zach still hasn’t improved. Probably not drafting a franchise QB at 8-8 unless we are lucky which we are not

lets face it, if we win 8 after starting 5-2, then Zach probably didn’t live up to expectations or hopes

at this point, we pretty much have to win a game that we are not supposed to and Zach has to be the reason. Seems easy enough. 1 game. Even bad QB’s do that

I don’t really want to argue in favor of belichick but if they beat us twice, then we have the same record As they have 1 less win I Ihaven’t looked at their remaining schedule, but it is most likely almost the same as ours. They already lost to the Bills once I believe

either way, both of us want the jets to be able to beat them for the next 25 years the way the have beaten us for the past 25, and today was a bad step in the wrong direction. i really thought they were ripe for the pickin. Would have felt a lot better had they beaten the Bears though

I don’t think the cheatahs are on the decline yet. Seems they are getting better too

are we on the incline? Do we have a permanent QB Sack? What do you think? Cause if we don’t and we go on a 5 game losing streak, then we lose everything we have gained. The jets wanted this game today. badly. And they collectively blew it. That hurts them more then it hurts us. And I don’t know about you, but it hurt me a lot.

today, I expected to win. The next 2 weeks, I did/do not. If we win one of the next 2 then today is erased. Do I think we have a chance in the next 2? Nope. Either way, tonight I have a sick feeling

And I disagree. Everyone is happy about the 4 game win streak, and had we lost to the Bills or the chiefs tonight, no one would mind. It’s who we lost to and how. Record of either team means nothing. Actually, the fact that we have a better record and seemingly , as you say, a rising team playing a declining team makes the loss hurt a lot more

Losing isn’t the problem. It’s the way we lost that’s the problem for me. Zach looked totally lost out there today. We’ll to be fair, from the end of the second Qtr and on! This appears to be a huge set back for him and this team. The moment they lost their top play maker and olinemen that put the pressure on Zach to carry them. At least play better than average and he couldn’t do it!

I didn’t expect the Jets to win every game from this point on. I knew they were going to lose eventually. Next week against the Bills I know that was going to be a lose but I was hoping/thinking they would pull this one out! They lost today and that was mainly because Zach couldn’t hold up his end of the bargain and that’s frustrating the most. This was truly heartbreaking to see!

He looked today like there’s no chance of him ever being our franchise QB. Which means it’s back to the QB drawing board come the end of next year! Can he recover from this I hope so but I’m doubtful of that now.

Zach to the drawing board. Without Beast Hall the Jets are going to have to establish another identity to compliment their defense. For starters go back to the white jerseys, commit to the run more and get Zach to get rid of the ball earlier. Two reads and either throw it away or run forward instead of retreating. Take what the defense gives. Yesterday wasn’t as bad as it looked overall. Still plenty football left. On to Buffalo.

If the Jets don't let Zach throw the ball and ugly up the game they can limit the embarrassment.

They may have lost as a team but the downward spiral started with the Zach interception late in the second quarter. Yes the JFM penalty (that truly shouldn’t have been) was a true killer as well but they wouldn’t have even been in that situation if it wasn’t for the interception.

They were driving for the halftime touchdown or field goal. That right there makes the score 17-3 or 13-3. The second half Zach killed the team even worse with the other stupid ints. This lost was was totally on Zach, I’m sure if you asked him he would tell you that. Even though they lost as a team.

I’m not disagreeing about Zach. He had a bad game. That first INT off his back foot was horrific. You just can’t do that. It started the spiral for sure. He’s got to get it corrected, and soon.

Just curious. What kind of odds would you lay

I'd give us at least a 60% chance of winning that one. Truth is.......Pats didn't beat us. We beat ourselves with piss poor play. We controlled the first half even with some slip-ups. The second half mistakes were egregious and you can't win games that way. This is a talented roster and I have to believe that when they watch the tape they will grind away at correcting those mistakes which were many from the offense as a whole, and the defense had them at 3rd and v e r y l o n g several times and let them convert and had backbreaking penalties, and special teams this time was anything but special. But they know they screwed up and won't want to be embarrassed that way again. I think they will be much better next time around.
