Two AFC East teams looking to turn around their early season misfortunes will square off in Week 3 when the New England Patriots (0-2) visit the New York Jets (1-1).

It's been a beginning of the year to forget in New England, as the Patriots dropped their first two games − both at home − in one-score affairs. In the "Sunday Night Football" loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Patriots running game struggled as the offense remained unreliable, leaving Bill Belichick at 0-2 for the first time since 2001.

After a triumphant win despite the loss of Aaron Rodgers in Week 1, the Jets misery continued as the offense sputtered against a dominant Dallas Cowboys defense. Back under center, Zach Wilson threw three picks, was sacked three times and the offense was 1-for-10 on third down. With only two offensive touchdowns in two games, New York will face another stern test from a solid Patriots defense.

I don’t know if the Jets have a chance to win this game or not but can they please make it a tuff and respectable game, win or lose. That’s all I ask! It’s only because they’re playing in MetLife that I think maybe they can pull this one off but I doubt it seriously. If they were playing in NE, NO CHANCE!

I think playing at MetLife is a disaster for Zach Wilson. The fans are looking for a reason to boo him and I have no doubt he will give them plenty of reasons.

I don't doubt that, but the rest of the team will be more than ready. They will have to carry him through this game and maybe they can! It's their only way to win. Now against the Chiefs they will get destroyed of course!

Week 3 and already a must win game for both teams.
Run heavy game plan should be the Jets choice.
Limit Zach's turnovers and Jets cancelled win.
D must win on third down, something they couldn't do vs Dallas, especially in the first half last week.

Got a feeling on this one. 16-10 Jets. D holds off a late NE drive. Zach starts off ok in the first half, shits the couch in the 2nd half and does little or nothing. And Saleh will be singing his praise of Zach after the game

This streak has to end at some point. Why not now? There should be better continuity along the OL and the run game can't get worse. Can't imagine this being a shootout, as both teams attempt to protect their QB's. A ST gaffe caused the last lost in NE. The team with the better complimentary game wins this one. This is our shot and the fans will be looking for something to cheer. Close game heading into fourth quarter. We'll see who wants it more by then.

Speaking of the defense, any word as to why Will McDonald was inactive for Cowboys?
