I don't think the organization is using Zach as an excuse. It's the loser portion of the fanbase that can't help but be negative about #2. We just beat the darling of the division with our 2nd string QB in an emotional game that could have been a disaster, but it wasn't because the coach and the strength of the locker room kept it together. I'd like to think that we'll be ok, not as good if Rodgers was behind center, but good nonetheless on the backs of our defense and strong core. This is a talented team with or without Rodgers.
I thought Zach did some very Zach things out there, but I also thought he made some great throws and he also made some easy throws that he missed last year. That seems like progress to me.
I won’t say that I was impressed but I will say that I was surprised by his performance. If that was Zach from last year, the Jets would have lost that game for sure. This past Monday was a very good sign. Enough to damn near make you feel cautiously hopeful! Hopefully he doesn’t regress.
Just pray.......................... for no injuries and mistake free play from both the defense and the offense, especially Zach and for Hackett to have the answer for Parsons. Prescott is prone to throwing interceptions and with our defense being what it is I expect we will get a couple and need to get points off of them. Just because the Giants fell flat on their face doesn't mean that the Jets will.
Zeurlein hurt is groin. I'm sorry, but this feels like this season will be full of injuries.

Damn and he’s been automatic and critical to the success of what we are going forward.
I think Robbie Gould is available. JD needs to not screw this up.
All we can hope for is progress. I don't think anyone believes Zach is going to lead us to a SB. We are just hoping he can be a good starter and show improvement & growth. I'm still optimistic that Hackett can scheme up game plays that help Zach out.
Not another season full of injuries! We need to review our training staff
The running game is key (obviously), and the magic number is 30+ runs/game. Supposedly Hackett was part of the equation in 2017 for Jaguars when Blake Bortles took them to the playoffs, and the formula was 30+ runs a game. Let's see if Hackett feels the same circumstances apply to this offense with Wilson. Look for a lot of 2-3 TE sets and plays taking advantage of AVT/Becton on the right side.
The 2-3 TE sets continually scare me a bit. We need our O line to improve and do their job. We signed Hardman and couldn't even get him on the field.
I'd like to see some creativity with spreading out the offense and attacking the middle of the field more.

jets suck eternally play rest of season without a qb in hopes of getting a high draft pick that they can use for the best LT in the draft. An LT, of course who gets injured in preseason
cowboys bring back brady, brady stands in one spot untouched for the rest of the season. Cowboys win Super Bowl
I’ll hold out a small hope that the 9ers beat him in the championship game but just a small hope
