Man even after sleeping it off and settling down, I still can't believe people are trying to back Zach. Listen, was he the only problem? "NO", but clearly he is
THE major issue with this offense.
Lets forget about the misses, the game killing INT, the mistakes. Lets talk about the successful plays for a second. Did no one realize that even the completed passes were "ALL" off target??? Guys leaping for catches, diving for catches, him completely setting up receiver after receiver for huge hits (like he literally is setting them up to get blown up). Even the successful plays looked bad! No one caught a pass in stride, even Garrett's catch and run (he juked the defender and just missed getting blown up).
Now I know all of the Zach supporters want to blame Lazard for the INT (and Lazard had another bad game), but
"come on" that was a timing play, Lazard ran the route and turn and squat! The ball needed to be there when he turned and sat, and guess what....... It wasn't there!! The QB didn't release the ball until after Lazard was wide open (in a tight ass window), so the defender had plenty of time to make a beat on it and intercept it.
I mean come on guys! What is the argument here? Zach can't do the most important aspect of his job (get into the end zone)! I mean Tommy DeVito threw for 2 TD's yesterday (that's a career day for Zachary)! What exactly are we defending here? He is the worst player on the 53 man roster at the most important position!!!
Your QB should be able to hide deficiencies. Here we are where the QB is the damn deficiency and people want to defend why he should keep playing
