I don’t feel like he called a single play in the Red zone where we could just punch them in the mouth and run the ball. No I formation, no extra TE or lineman.
He is always calling the cutesy trick plays and just never plays smash mouth football.
Yeah that’s great! It really is but the Jets still lose. That’s the button line here! I don’t blame it on the players in particular. They played their hurts and fought tooth and nail. This one is going to have to go on the coaching staff, but how can we truly say that when the offense had damn near 500 yards and the defense allowed under 300?
We still control our destiny in December so I will take it. I hope they make the playoffs, but more importantly I hope we found our QB.
Beating Buffalo in Buffalo will be TUFF next week but the Jets can do it. They did it with Zach Wilson, why not with Mike White!
At this point I'm not looking past any team. SO much more football to be played. This game was disappointing, but losing to the Pats on a punt return was way worse.
Personally, I think the defense played decent. Still missing too many tackles and interception opportunities and struggled against the run and yes I realize they were facing some tough running talent but that's what you face playing against playoff caliber teams and you have to be able to handle it if you want to compete in the playoffs. The offense was offensive................they played like wimps every time they got in the red zone and allowed that defense to manhandle and outplay them. They have to get better............quickly. Lefleur made a few questionable calls but mostly the execution was not good. They better eat their spinach before next week or Buffalo will eat them alive. At least the Raiders want us to make the playoffs....................they beat the Chargers to keep them from taking our #7 spot. Thank you Raiders for giving us a chance.

The yardage was there on offense. They moved it on some big drives only to get bullied down in the red zone. Nut up, get angry, and throw your opponent on the ground. That’s what you do in those moments.
And they didn’t. The players. No excuse kicking all of those FG’s. It was ridiculous. Can’t win on the road that way.
Yeah, I see where you’re coming from! To put up all those yards just to end up with 5 field goals is disgusting. So it seems like Lefluer did call a good game. The defense giving up that crucial second half TD was a bunch of BS also. I’ll give you that!
I thought the D played ok. You can contain Cousins and Jefferson, but then you have to expect Dalvin Cook to rip a few. Looked like we missed a few assignments on him. But overall the secondary played pretty well and the pass rush got there sporadically.
