Team played hard. Just too many injuries. Announcers were fawning over Jackson all night. I’m sorry but I wasn’t that impressed. He will go the way of RG3 in a year. Defenses will figure him out. Is he better than Darnold? His team sure as hell is. If Darnold was on the Ravens and Jackson on the Jets.....guess what.... we would have been blown out anyways. Then throw in the idiot Gase factor and there you have it. Was it me, or did Darnold seem really pissed at Gase toward the end of the game? He kinda of dissed Gase.......

There's no question he's better than Darnold, by a lot. His passes are crisper and much more accurate. Hitting recievers in stride vs having the have to stop and wait, jump or dive for the ball is a big difference.
On the bright side, Darnold appeared to have had enough of Gase tonight. The interaction post interception seems to show Darnold telling Gase to fuck off..... The look on fales face was priceless and Bell was sitting watching closely and seemed to get a chuckle out of it. Hopefully this will be the straw that leads to Gase being shown the door, giving Darnold the opportunity to grow and hopefully realize his potential. Clip cuts off a few seconds too soon but it's all I can find.
His WR's are always open. Thats either play calling or the WR's are better and its actually both. I wish Darnold's WR's were open. Wish Darnold had time. LJ is better at this very moment. His team is way better. Darnold will be in the league way longer.
another reason his WRs are so open is because jackson is a threat (obviously) to rip off 30+ on the ground every snap..
jackson's game & situation are ideal.. don't forget, while the guy in cleveland was making commercials, this kid was at work.. probably put on 10 pounds of upperboby muscle last offseason.. very impressed with the kid..
