Yes he did. Everyone on offense was used. Nice to see Elijah Moore making plays again.
Yes he definitely was and maybe that’s what all this trade me shit was about. Not just being unhappy that he wasn’t targeted or used correctly but the fact that he knew who he was playing with and he wasn’t going to get the ball anyway because of Zach’s play!

Mike White completed more passes to different players (10) than Zach completed passes (9) in total period last week. WOW!

Based on a two game sample. Let’s not get carried away here.

Let’s see where things stand after the season. Hell, even after the next two games that Mike White will probably start. Let’s see if this giant circle jerk over him is still happening after Buffalo. If there’s one thing I know from being a fan of this team for so long, it’s that things can change quickly. After Mike White’s famous game against Cincinnati, and everyone went all nuts over him, he went back to being a fringe NFL QB. Let’s see what happens over an extended sample size. I need to see more.

After a small patch of anxiety, the defense seemed absent, we weren't clicking offenively, it turned around for the better and
a pleasure to watch the game. I hope their reset plan for Zach is now to reset his location and we get something for him.

We all do! Hopefully none of us are that serious that we think that this is Mike White’s team now! He hasn’t proven that yet. He just might but he hasn’t just yet. This definitely isn’t Zach Wilson team but it isn’t Mike White’s either.

My post indicated the dissatisfaction with Zach as a quarterback for the Jets and by Mike White showing another way of doing things. Adding to that, my opinion is not to undertake 39 year old (soon) Aaron Rodgers, his $50MM per annum and his shtick.

It isn’t Mike White’s team but it should be. Doesn’t really matter if White gets the team into the playoffs, he’s exactly what Zach Wilson needs as a mentor right now . Mike White knows how to bring a team together as evident by the way his teammates mobbed him on Sunday and last year when he had his mini run as starter . He knows how to handle himself around the media and he knows how to move around in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield.

I don’t want to get rid of Wilson because he’s got too much talent but what I want is for him to watch how it’s done and adapt his game and mannerisms.

Yesterday behind the same OL, Mike White was sacked once, didn’t roll out of the pocket ala Wilson, but instead slid around the pocket like dare I say that divorcee who now takes snaps in Tampa Bay .

I want Wilson to learn how to play the QB position from the pocket, use jd mobility when he needs to and most importantly become someone that his teammates would be willing to get kicked out of a game for .

During yesterday's game, I noted one throw White made going short, into the turf. Zach Wilson made a ton of those (as well as high or out of bounds overthrows) during his two years as QB. The completions White made yesterday have been there all this time. The problem was ZW's ability to complete them.

That's a hard pill for JD to swallow. No one wants to be on the hook for blowing a #2 pick. But to stick with it when you know it's a disaster is a thousand times worse. Doubt it? Look what we did with Darnold. He should have been booted at least a year before we made the move. Please JD, don't repeat that idiocy.

Here's the problem with that, well not really a problem but a factor in all of this. Mike White is only 27 years old. He's not 37 and on the back end of his career. So, if he can continue this and become our guy, Zach Wilson is done, and they will move on from him. So, this will not be just a learning lesson for him to return to the field as a Jets QB because he won't get a chance to. Not to say that would be a problem, the Jets would have to just chalk that up as a QB change that was not only needed but a hard lesson learned for them also.

They had their guy in the building the entire time and didn't realize it or didn't want to acknowledge it until just now. So, in essence, if this all works out this way, Zach Wilson was a wasted draft pick, and they'll have to eat that. Not that big of a deal because Joe D and Saleh has hit on just about every other draft pick and free agency signing. So, we'll just have to give them this one. This just might turn out to be a very good problem to have. We'll see how this all turns out the rest of this year but it's looking very good so far!

Mike White has candidly discussed this, and said that he tried to do too much last year. If he has learnt AND we keep our better offense together, he may be difficult to displace.

Like others I'm wondering if White is the real deal but let's not forget he put up great numbers in a freaking constant downpour. Wow!
Oh, and a shout out to Greg the leg for that 58 yarder in that monsoon.
