I wanted to find the scene where he runs with the flag at the end battle but couldn’t. So, picture Mel running with the flag back into battle yelling at the guys who were running away, “ stay the course”
Jets don't have the organization nor the team to be called a winner. I said after week 1, they would go 8-9. Be shocked if they won more than that. Not enough talent. Not good enough coaching.
OK, I was not ready to call out the team after the opener. I believe in a larger sample size. For me, a team's success comes down to 2 aspects:
1. Succeeding in 4-game blocks, and
2. Winning more games you are supposed to lose than losing games you are supposed to win.
Well, this team had a block where they should have been 3-1. They lost Week 1, which was expected, and won Weeks 2 and 3, which were also expected. They have now lost a game they were supposed to win, and they finished a block of four games where they should have been 3-1 and are now 2-2. Bad job all around.
Coaching is the first blame. Absolutely. Second is the OL. They were the two biggest reasons for today. Rodgers a bit, and a few other expected stars, like GW and Breece, are also to blame. Can't blame the defense. You should win when you give up 10 points, especially with the offense giving you short fields.
Now this can be fixed. They NEED to go into Buffalo 3=2 and at WORST, leave Buffalo at 3-3, preferably 4-2. If they go to 2-4, that is just a disaster. Longer term, after the Pats, they should be 5-3. They play Houston on Halloween at .500, and there is an issue. They have a losing record, and the season is just another disaster for this franchise.

What halftime adjustment were made? One was, how to not stop the run and tackle.
Saleh, once again has no answers, just like the last two seasons. It’s tiring rooting for this team. Other teams all pros step up in a game like this, not the Jets. Haven’t heard Quinnens name all friggin year. Breece was garbage today, Garrett Wilson couldn’t do shit. Quincey was the one who was ballin’.
What do we think Addison, Jefferson are going to do to this group next week.

Every bad loss leads to Jets fans wanting the coach fired. I get it. But I also don't think mid-season changes work out well for the teams that make them.
Saleh is good at two things - developing defensive players and motivating. Today, obviously the motivation was not there. He has never been a great coach when it comes to adjustments, although there have been times during his tenure when the team put a bad first half behind them and came out better in the second half.
If Saleh cannot succeed with the team assembled for him, he deserves to be gone. But I don't think that change can come this early. Nor do I think it would be productive to change now. But Saleh is very much on watch, and (despite many who may disagree with me) I think he is far closer to being gone than Douglas is.
This coaching staff needs to start trusting Allen more. That is not a knock on Breece, but there are certain situations where Allen is just more effective. That goal line situation was it.
Same can be said for Corley. If the coaching staff was so thrilled to draft him, try using him. I really don't need to see some of these guys targeted more while Corley doesn't see any action.
He is going to get a nice fine too . Making the gesture of firing guns was banned by the league. Probably will cost him between $10-15k.
Saleh said they will look into using Allen more. He also said that after week one. Saleh is a buffoon. Ulbrich could run the team the rest of the way.
