I absolutely hate to co-sign what your saying here but I don’t have much of a choice. With Rex Ryan and Sanchez his rookie year we beat the Patriots but that was a team carried by its defense and running game. Sanchez did the bare minimum the entire season, except the playoffs. He sorta stepped up there, I gotta give him that.
Anyway, those defenses we had our first 2-3 years with Rex Ryan were deadly. Full of vets in their prime that were mean, fast, hungry and extremely talented. Not saying that we don’t have that kind of situation now but this team is very young and really don’t know no better. I just don’t think they’re going to be able to do to the Patriots what they are going to do to us.
It may be a close and low-scoring game and I hope it is but I truly don’t see us winning this one. I’m pray that I’m wrong and they blow the doors off those bastards but I’ll take a .1 win if that was possible. A win is a win all the same!
my only hope for this game is that Zach gets out of it without an injury. If that means Saleh has to play on the oline then so be it

I hope for three things:
we find our legs and run the f*cking ball!!!

the play calling is not Adam Gase like it was in the first half last week..
we know we have a kicker who can punt...
we signed a wily ole vet in Morstead so punting should be average since he was cut last year for having a down year...

True. But Saleh has the eye of the tiger. The Jets will beat the tiger out of him soon, but for now, he has it

I imagine the Pats game plan is to run the ball, and manufacture a short passing game to backs in the flat, screens, and TE's down the seams. Mac won't hold the ball most attempts, but will pick spots to throw downfield when the matchups favor him. If we play soft defensively he will do fine with dinks and dunks. Both teams will try to protect their QB's and both teams will attempt pressure on the opposing QB. Very tight score leading up to halftime, unless something weird happens. The second half adjustments will determine the outcome. And if the Pats don't execute, expect some kind of gadget trick play to gain advantage. Remember, they have cheating tendencies plus get the benefit of the officials calls and ball placement especially on close first down markings. I only found one or two prognosticators picking the Jets against the spread with six points at home being too high, plus picking the Jets to win. I agree. Jets 20 -16 with Zach throwing a game winning TD.
