Sooners coaches lost their nerve in the second half and went over to Jets playcalling in the second half, two yard run up the middle on every first down. It became apparent in the second half that the Oklahoma defense was outmatched by the Dogs RBs, but they were thrown a lifeline with the Michel fumble-six and the stop on defense. And then they ran three times and punted instead of reaching for victory. They had another chance in first OT with fourth and 1, where they should have gone for it instead of matching FGs. You have to gamble when you know that you can't let their offense get back on the field.
