Yeah I agree they all want to win and that's what they get paid to do. Nobody said football players were smart. They will be cut tomorrow so they have to give a shit. I know everything I need to know about this organization to bring back two people that have not improved this teams record by even a single game in 5 years. Fans are stupid enough to buy merchandise and go to games to support this so why should they care about winning anything more than meaningless games. I don't care what they do. All I know is whatever they do they will fail at it. Merry Christmas!
What was brilliant was the Washington defense playing the last drive like they were up 4+ points. They left the middle of the field wide open and dropped deep, letting the Jets dink and dunk right into the FG range of their elite kicker. Gotta hand it to them when they get Alt or Harrison Jr. while Jelly Donut reaches for a player with the 10th pick.
I'm just pissed I didn't bet on the Jets winning a meaningless game. You can set your clock to it.
How about this, why don’t you just stop being a fan of this team period and stop posting on this site? Just try your best to forget that you were ever a Jets fan and disassociate yourself with the team period! Burn all the clothes, gifts and Jets items you ever had and just be done with it. Sounds like you’re already there anyway, so why not just complete the task. I am glad they won, and hope Thursday they beat Joe Flacco and the Browns. Why, growth. Team has to start learning how to win, otherwise we will continue playing like a lit bag of shit every year.
Only way we are playing for a high draft pick is if we had to draft a fucking stud which nowadays can be found in any of the 335 players trying to be drafted in the 256 picks.

Wowser! A rollercoaster ride fer sure! Possibly one of the more exciting, nail-biting games of the season. The New Jersey Jets have two things going for them -- a fine defensive squad and an extraordinarily good field goal kicker.
The offensive front five still have far to go. Play-calling, regardless of the QB, has to center on the run game and short and accurate passing. Penalty abatement can make a big difference, too.
It would be interesting to see a graph of yards gained vs. time in seconds that the QB had the ball. I suspect that after a while, the yards gained becomes negative.

The game was entertaining which is all we can ask for. We saw the best and worst of the Jets in two halfs LOL.
Watching the Offense put up point in the first half, really makes you wonder how this team would have faired if we went with a competent game manager from the moment Rodgers went down, instead of force feeding JD's failed pet project down our throats?????

Look end of the day I want the team to win. We are NOT drafting a QB this year no need for a high pick.
We will do our due diligence with the OL from my understanding there are 2 guards they are looking at intensely.

in NY area may even pick up some schools to scout. End of the day, there are a lot of moves to be made with players this off season. From what I heard they will consider trading Lazard along with several other contract year players like Laken, DJ Reed, CJ Mosley, Conklin, Uzomah, etc. Then there are players like JFM have value along with MC2, and Echols.
We have 27 free agents this year and only $16 M cap available. So some players will have to take payouts or bye bye via trade.

This is so true. I have both played on and coached teams at the HS, prep, and college levels that have won conference titles and been nationally ranked, and teams that have been at the bottom and are playing out the string. No players think about the draft slot. Ever. Herm said it best.
I agree players don't think that way and they shouldn't. It doesn't change the fact that yesterday's win was as meaningless as a pre season game. It won't catapult them to anything next year. This team needs losses regardless of how they get them. If this win was about next year then you could say don't risk Breece and Garrett. So I will continue to root for two more losses even though I don't think JD will pick the right player.

Well getting a better draft pick would be better. Players not tanking is also a fact. JD missing on picks is also a truth. No need to be amazed. I always spout the truth and facts.
You know what else is a fact? You pounded the table for Lamar and you were right. I don't think he was ever seriously on the trading block, but Lamar is having a great injury free year.
